    1. I survived a train accident, it was horrible but God saved me. People didn't believe it. We were stuck across rain track by hold up opposite First bank Unity Ilorin. I was in AC slamming jams

    2. This whole this could have been prevented if we had a government that factors in safety in what they do.

Every motor junction on a rail track should have a barrier that closes before a train crosses. How many are there across Nigeria?

  2. Absolutely devastating news!
    2 questions though:
    1. Why didn't she step out early, seeing as the train was close?
    2. Didn't the train see the car early enough to stop?
Sometimes ehn, if pesin time don reach laidis, anything fit just kill you. Very sad news. May God comfort the family of the deceased and grant her eternal rest.

    1. Ali B, trains are not cars that can stop at the sight of any obstruction. Once there is a moving train, it doesnt stop till it gets to its destination. Remember, bandits know this that is why their best bet was to bomb the tracks, to derail the train.

    2. Ali B,

Trains like planes don't start/stop like cars.

    3. Exactly, trains don stop till they get to their destination. She should've ran out of the car immediately it got stuck.
It's part of the things they don't teach in driving school in Naija. There should even be a crossing/stop sign to signal when it's safe to driving across a train track.
May her soul rest in peace.

    4. @11:16, that's what I thought till I came to the US. Trains in my state stop mid station. First time it happened, I was shook. Train completely stopped and waited, after a while, it continued. No technology pass these America abeg 👏

    5. Actually trains can stop. There are brakes that the driver can hit. But unfortunately the speed of a train is so fast that in order to avoid hitting something several miles away the driver will have to have been pressing break for a long time
Dont u guys watch oyinbo films ? Even in UK when people commit suicide train driver presses break..usually too late but u get the point.

    6. I feel for the lady. Maybe she thought she didnt want to lose out on her car.
Could be company car or borrowed n she didnt want these. but life is better than material things. Also from.the looks of the car she might have survived if she moved to the other side of the car farthest from.the train or just simply left the car behind

  8. i saw that video this morning and kept asking myself why will someone park a car at the rail way. She didn't know that train has begin it daily activities.

She should have left the car when she noticed the car wasn't moving. In the video i saw she opened the car door and boom the train has already crushed her. You cannot play with train like cars, the legs has something like magnet that will not allow the car to move.

May her soul rest in peace. Please always be careful with the road or railways. You cannot be faster than an accident.

    1. Even stepping on those tracks is dicey as they are electric and have electrocuted people in civilised countries. Could that be why she was confused om whether to step out or not? Maybe as she stepped out she was electrocuted and frozen in place til the train hit

  9. The thing pain me o. Rest in peace madam. I think trains are magnetic when in motion. And a moving train can't just be halted like a regular vehicle. The railway corporation needs to start running jingles and other forms of sensitisation on how to stay safe around train tracks. As the era of trains return, the masses need safety awareness.

    1. They really need to do that since it seems they don't teach that in driving schools. But come to think of it, how many people even go to driving school🤔.

  11. Haba! She was suppose to have left the car instead of trying to reverse it.that was dangerous.her life was more better than a car.

  12. I guess she was shocked and confused, coz she had time to bolt out of the car. Unfortunately trains don't just stop when brakes are applied.. The horn and vibration alone would tell you a train is coming, and you'd have ample time time to run. It was just a suicide move.

    1. Trains are actually really fast. They literally sneak up on people. Dont depend on the loudness of a train to be able to detect it o. And don't even dare to think of out running a train..simply avoid working trail tracks. Because they can also electrocute someone. That's why Here in the UK u have warnings and barriers to prevent cars from passing a railway several minutes before an actual train passes . That Is to show how fast a train can just appear in sight

  24. Folks always underestimate the speed of a train and think they have time, you literally have no time if you can see the train. If you are late just wait, trying to beat the train never works.

This is a horrible way to die, worst her loved ones will not be able to view her body. Condolences to them.
