  1. I agree with him. Some parents sacrifice a lot for the well being of their children. If your parents are still alive, treat them well.

    1. Your sacrifice as a parent shouldn't stop you from growing personally, all the Obamas and Bill Gates grew and made sacrifices too biko. Sacrificing for children and personal growth are not mutually exclusive. Your lack of personal growth has nothing to do with your children. Leave these children alone. Don't have them if you can't cater to them without blackmail

    2. Anon at the end of the day some had lil or no money to save after sorting out the bills, which includes school fees, electricity, feeding, house rent etc. Most of them never had side hustles and depended solely on their salary which was nothing to write home bout... Yet they still pushed harder to make sure their children lacked nothing. So he's very correct because some parents gave up a lot jus so their children can become who they are today so as a good child and one who has a conscience you do not need anyone to remind you that you have to honour your parents because you alone saw all they went through for you.
Respect and love to every parent out there who sacrificed their all jus to make sure their children are who they are today๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’•❣️God bless and keep you all... You'll not die but live to enjoy the fruit(s) of your labour in sound health. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

    1. Sad realisation o, people who would have amounted to nothing blaming their voluntary will to reproduce, mostly in retrospect. Jokers.

    2. Some parents sacrificed the pathway to a better future (relocation when they were young and had the opportunity). Don’t say what you don’t know because you or yours didn’t sacrifice for the ones you claim to love. Your journey isn’t same with mine so don’t conclude that his quote is a joke ๐Ÿ˜’.

  4. Maybe the motivation should be to achieve your personal growth before you willingly drag a child into your underachievement, only to blame said child afterwards. These children carry too much responsibilities simply by being born, and it seems the poorer or in your words, the lesser the parents' personal growth the more the child's responsibilities.

  5. People should stop looking for excuses for their poor personal growth, some peole are achieving both biko. Not like those growing most are childless, ogbeni look inwards, you will see the reason you didn't grow.

  6. Some reproduce to cover for their lack of personal growth, some even think reproduction is personal growth, so WTH?

  7. Glad with the responses I am reading here. Parents blaming children for their inability to maximize their potential. Thank God someone mentioned Obama & Bill Gates, there are also parents. Nigerian parents that push their parental responsibilities to “house maids” & boarding school. But expect their adult children to have a strong bond with them & “repay them for sacrifices”. Children that never asked to be born. Use birth control or abort if you are not willing to make sacrifices to provide a decent life for the child(ren) you brought into the world.
