IN HOUSE MEMO

I dont have anything to say but to wish you a good day....

GIST

E get this man wey dey work for one of the institutions for our town. He works there, his wife is a staff there too. Recently, alot has been going on in the work environment, from one gbas gbos to another. Other staff woke up to see his pic posted on their platform with a lot of injuries soliciting for financial assistance.

At first they 'lied' he was attacked by robbers in his house. But you know nothing is hidden under the sun. Gist is just coming out from nook and crannies. Later it was reported that his wife's brothers were responsible for the injuries, they beat him and cut him with knife, in short he was butchered.

As the second news came now, accusing fingers were pointing at the wife, who does that to a husband and other talks. Wife too had to clear her name. She said she had a small misunderstanding with him and he beat her up. She reported to his dad, her father in law and brother, those ones called him and were angry at him for beating his wife. After he got the calls from his father and brothers, he got angry again and beat her up for reporting him to his family.

She has a side hustle and was supposed to make and deliver the services she was paid to do at an event, her guys (apprentices) came to the house to find out while she was yet to call them for the job and all that. As they saw her in her sorry state, they got angry and attacked her hubby. She said it was her boys that gave her husband the beating oh. All these reporting and defense was happening on the ground chat

Trust Nigerians, even though the thing happen for Kafanchan, insiders must always dey. Insiders said the man always beat up his wife and this last one got her brothers really angry and they had to show him small pepper. He beat her up as usual and 'naked' her, his wife ran to her family naked. Her brothers came with weapons and butchered him.

It wasn't a good sight at all. He ran to the police. His colleague posted his pic and was soliciting for financial help saying 'nobody should ask him what happened, it's a family matter'

He's still at the hospital fighting for his life, some fear if he'll ever be the same again, others are secretly saying it served him right for always beating the mother of his kids. And those he's stepped on their toes just dey happy, maybe it's his punishment for chopping their money in the name of being a committeE chairman.

The matter is still on. But after all these saga, how will both of them work comfortably in the same work space

So two sets of people beat him up? Her workers beat him blue black and her brother butchered him? I dont support Domestic Violence but if he dies the matter might get serious for all those involved...
Not only may they not be able to work together anymore if he survives but they wont be able to live together cos he might finish the work on her... GOD ABEG!

PINKYS CORNER

MEN (We need to be careful)

Yesterday, I was just surfing through the internet as usual around 5 pm and i decided to just check something on FB, naso I see one comment (The lady posted that, she is not happy and needs someone to talk to before something bad happens). Note: the comment was posted in one group on FB and no one has commented, then I tried to just comment under it, trying to encourage her.

After my comment, I slide into her dm and we started chatting, I asked her what was wrong and she explained to me that, she is presently facing some challenges in school, I asked her which school (can you imagine that, it was the school of health close to my house here in IB). We chatted for some minutes and I decided to digress a bit and started asking her some vital questions, that was how I got to know everything oooo.

She is just 23years and a single mother of a girl of 3years, she said and I quote "I love to be sincere and love people to take me for who I'm". then I replied ok, just tell me all I need to know. She then continued. She said, she is HIV positive and she got this virus when she was 16years of age. I was shocked, I asked if her baby daddy knows hmmmmmm guess what she said? She said NO.....

I asked why? she said the guy offended her and she decided not to tell him even till she was pregnant which the same guy was responsible for. They cut ties when the guy denied the pregnancy and now the girl is three (3) this year. I was shocked but I continued with my questions just to know more.

She said, her baby is negative because I asked about the baby's status then I felt relieved. Aunty, does any of your friends in school knows you are HIV positive? she said just one and it's her very good friend, I would have loved posting the chat in here but for security reasons(Stella, I'm sure you you couldn't believe what you read yesterday when I sent it to you).

Can you imagine, I tried making her tell me what the guy did but she never told me, she only told me to forget.

I asked how she got this virus, she said from blade and she couldn't believe her eyes when she was told she is HIV positive after some months and then she said, she was still a virgin and knows no man. I feel for her but feel for the guy who never had an idea of what bondage or wahala he has put himself.

As a man, I think we need to be very careful, this world is full of wickedness and you never can tell the next action of anyone towards you. I pity the baby daddy.

We are now friends on fb because, I had to send her friend request when I noticed I have been able to pin her with my words and she can't just ignore my questions but to answer them. At first, I thought she was joking about the HIV thing, until she sent me a voice note and swear with everything she has then I believed it was true.

Na wah.... A lot of people seem to be living with this thing now.....There was no hope when i lost two older siblings to this.... Their partners gifted them this without telling them and took off......#sad

A lot of BVs have been mailing to know when i will do singles mingles for HIV+ people on this Blog..... I dont know if i should cos i dont want to put anyone out there to be trolled and insulted.... What do you people think?

Thanks for this story Pinky...

We move!

  1. Good afternoon everyone,
Let me share this here, perhaps it will help someone.
The words "Junior" and "Senior" are applicable to work places and positions, not to family hierarchy.
"Younger" and "Older" are the words used for family positions.
    For example:
    1. "Ade is my YOUNGER brother" - ✔
    2. "Ibrahim is a SENIOR colleague" - ✔
Have an amazing day y'all... ❤️

  10. I must be a sage by now cuz I have passed that Motherhood test with flying colours. Nothing my pikins fit do go make me craze again. 🤣🤣

Some violent husbands actually deserve those kind of resetting. I have witnessed a man beat his wife and it is not a pleasant sight to behold. Those kind of men are actually the type who can never win a fight with their fellow men. Weaklings everywhere in the name of redpoll.

Pinky, even you too, should be careful. This one that you are making friends with every tom, dick and Harry.
She did not tell you the whole truth, HIV cannot be contracted through blade. You should have asked her the circumstances surrounding the blade. If a blade is used on an infected blood, the virus dies after a few minutes. If the blade does not get into contact with a nother person's blood within this few minutes, no infection.

  18. Good afternoon beautiful people, I'm so enjoying this weather.

There's this woman in my street that molests her five year old daughter. This woman calls this girl names like oponu, dindinrin, ode and other derogatory names. When she starts beating her nko? She beats her for the slightest things. Always complaining that she's too slow and comparing her with other children.
I've told her that her constant insults and beating will make her lose her self esteem but she's not taking any of that. I just tire for her matter.

  20. how do some men have the mind to beat their wife, you beat your wife and made her to disappoint those that she was supposed to deliver item to them all in the name of marriage. You have chop small beating to see how sweet your wife has been enjoying or enduring when you beat her.

Women before he kills you or you kill him please walk away from that abusive marriage. No marriage in heaven.

You see that Mayowa and Leye situationship, that one is dead already with what Mayowa did.
Ndani is really trying, I prefer their series to some Nollywood movies.

  34. Stella, the prevalence of HIV virus in Nigeria is alarming. The government, places of worship and others know this but behaving like the proverbial ostrich. Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb of HIV pandemic. The percentage of people under medications is far lower than those not.
