  4. The lecturers should also be reasonable. If they insist on payment of salaries for work not done,how do they expect to compensate the students for months wasted at home? Some of them missed going fir NYSC cuz of this strike,thereby missing opportunities too.

  5. Legally, government is not obligated to pay for work not done. However, ASUU can argue in court, that the strike was enforced because government reneged on a pact signed by both parties, thus not keeping their end of the bargain. ASUU can pursue this in court and win on that ground.
    Either ways, na students and parents dey suffer right now, and this is not looking good at all. What a country!

  9. FG Nigeria pay those teachers and university staff well, they are human with responsibilities. Stop bullying them, Nigeria is rich, yet the educational sector is famished.

    Re prioritise well. Not every student can afford to Japan, still there is greatness in them. Pity the students.
