Kemi (real name withheld) had lived abroad for the greater part of her life. She met a Nigerian guy over there and the duo fell in love with each other. They took their love to the next level by tying the nuptial knots.
The marriage is blessed with children.
At some point the duo could no longer tolerate the excesses of each other the husband Ben (real name withheld) stopped coming home and stopped paying school fees since they moved back to Nigeria and Kemi had to practically 'steal' the children's passport and smuggle them out of Nigeria back to their country of birth where they all received great support from the government upon their arrival. The foreign countries will always do that, you know right?
When Kemi was free from Ben, she decided to give love a chance again and zeroed in on a cute and much 'younger' guy she had shared the 'forbidden fruit' with in Nigeria in the past.

They 'renewed' their 'vow'.
The new lover wasn't able to procure a visiting visa to Kemi's location, so they both settled for a neutral location that was visa-free for the dude where she and the lover boy could 'break bread' yet again. They 'kukuma' met and had a swell time.
Love 'enta' Kemi head and she craved more of her lover boy so they started exploring possibilities of relocating the lover boy to Kemi's place of above.
However, Kemi decided to conduct a background check. Dude reeled out an intimidating CV. He worked in a popular establishment and he travelled around the world with his boss. Remember, this same guy could not procure a visiting visa to a certain country despite his intimidating travel history? That happens anyway but Kemi was/is in love so she couldn't be bothered.
Recently, a bossom friend of Kemi became curious and suggested that since the lover boy works for a well known person, why not dig further. Kemi grudgingly agreed. Behold, the report came out negative!

Interestingly, a mutual friend of the two friends was related to the 'employer' in question and upon their enquiry it turned out that dude was unknown to both the supposed employer and the spouse!
The friend had to break the news to Kemi.
Was Kemi hurt? Yes, she was but lover boy was able to convince her to forgive and forget. Lover boy stated that he had to lie to give her the impression that he was 'serious-minded.' Meanwhile, Kemi had paid an agent to bring lover boy into her country of birth/residence already and she's willing to forgive and forget, regardless.
