ReplyDeleteNot to be insensitive but a lot of us doubt prophecies. I understand we have a lot of fake prophets but some times, these prophecies are real. There are times that I see visions concerning people that I am not even close to. Sometimes, I dream about something terrible but instead of keeping it to myself or saying "it's just a dream" I will rather share and warn the concerned person to pray. It's important to pray especially when prophecies are shared. Pray and pray! Prayer works!

DeleteMaybe this will help educate us spiritually. What ever God reveals, either thru dreams or visions or prophecies, he wants to take care of. That means he expects you to pray, so he will avert it. You the seer should also pray on behalf of whoever is concerned. But whatever he does not reveal and it happens, he has a reason for that. Don’t question him because that’s a grace sin. But you can ask questions from him. There is a BIG difference between Questiioning God, and asking him questions. When you question him (God) he tend to disbelieve him, you question his power, his authority and his greatness. But when you ask questions, you don’t no and wants to. He is your father and would not deliberately let any harm come to you. But remember he has given you power to live, choose your will, and decide what you want. Lastly, as much as he is full of tender mercies, he is also a consuming fire.
Delete@15.35. In as much as your comment about being closer to God makes sense but remember that being closer to God also doesn’t exempt you from life trials and tribulations. The Bible says there is time to be born and there is time to die but no one knows when that time will be. This life is not our home unfortunately. However, with the amount of people that are in his inner circle dying and now this one which hit home for him, I think this is a big spiritual awakening for him to go on a big spiritual journey

ReplyDeleteIf the so called "prophet" had real prophecy, he would have told him the number and types of awards he will win, the date Ifeanyi will die and what will kill him.
Let the "prophet " tell us who will win next year election and how the economy will be. He should tell us the good and bad that will happen and the exact date and time it will happen. That's how prophets in the bible did it.

But he saw being rushed to the hospital unconscious and loosing something. He should have taken this prophecy serious. Money can’t buy everything.

They make a lot of prophesies against known people and when one of them comes true, they recirculate the post to win 'customers' desperate for prophesies. Did one not say that Funke will never have kids, does she not have 2 sons today? From the day Davido shared photo of his house any safety conscious person would have known that he needs to secure the pool. Thought the same when the post about teaching his son to swim came out.
ReplyDeleteMaking your home child safe is a necessity. How many people reading this post who live in duplexes have gates on their stairs so their toddler can't climb up or down the stairs? what of drawer locks? Socket plugs? It's still not a guarantee because kids can do and undo but it's a form of check.
It's still hard to believe the little boy is gone. Just like that.
May God give them the fortitude to bear this loss.
It is so so so sad. Immediately the news broke yesterday, the first thing my husband said is that he suspects drowning, and that was before the full story of cause of death came out. Dbanj's story still rings in my head, now this.

So true about safety, better to overdo it than underdo. When I used to babysit my nieces when they were younger I was on them like white on rice. Even when they were sleeping I checked every half an hour to make sure they were breathing. I wasn't being paid, but I know my spirit and what I can and cannot handle, so I took no chances. Not until their mother got home did I relax. Watching someone's child should never be taken lightly, even if innocent accidents happen that guilt will remain with you for life, worst you getting paid you better not let them leave your sight for a second, even if that means taking them into the bathroom while you use it, and I have done that too.

ReplyDeleteI don't know why people think all prophets are fake. I have the grace of the prophetic, I see things, good and bad. Many times I pray and cancel on behalf of people God shows to me without their knowledge, sometimes I tell them so we can do the prayer and sometimes fasting together because I am also an intercessor. There is no harm in praying and cancelling negative prophecies....don't just abuse and castigate all prophets you bully us into silence many times

ReplyDeleteMy younger brother of 17 years old got drowned in January 2010, I still haven't recovered from the feeling of how much he must have struggled in the Makun sea before he finally gave up. Every time the thought crosses my mind, I still shudder in shock. The same feeling, I started having since this boy's death news broke out yesterday. It is very very pathetic, and it is such a very heartbreaking way for anyone to die! I pray for them, that God should just hug them both right now

When two people come together to have a baby their lives change automatically! You as parents are responsible for your child! Now I believe Chioma does not have 9-5 job, but she is always available going with Davido for irrelevant travelling when she knows she has a toddler. Nobody I repeat Nobody can take care of a child more than the mother. When you have an child you priorities as parents must change. Most of this domestic are not professionals but are in for the money. David and Chioma are responsible for their child's safety as his parents. Travelling up and down with Davido. ReplyDeleteYou guys like repeating words, there are people that can take care of a child more than the moms, is it not some moms that dump some kids after birth, some even abort their kids etc abeg let us hear word, we once had a neighbor that didn't know how to take care of her kids, it was other neighbors that care of all her kids, bath them in the morning, take them to school etc, some mums will bath their kids in the morning and give them money for food no breakfast nothing, no trainings, go to bus packs and see different abandoned kids who are fending for themselves.

The prophecy by Jeremiah 31:15 was referred to in Matthew 2:18 when Herod sought to kill baby Jesus but ended up killing male children from age two and below in Bethlehem.
This is what the Lord says:
“A voice is heard in Ramah,
mourning and great weeping,
Rachel weeping for her children
and refusing to be comforted,
because they are no more.”
Life is very spiritual! In fact, the spiritual realm controls what happens in the physical world.
That's the reason the Bible says we should pray without ceasing.
Recall that Joseph dreamt and was instructed by God to take baby Jesus to Egypt because Herod was trying to kill Him.
It's is not that God is not powerful enough to protect His Only Begotten Son but there was an appropriate time for His manifestation as Christ, the Saviour of the world. That happened at age 30 and Christ's ministry was for 3 years till age 33 before His sacrificial death to redeem the world from sin and eternal damnation.
It was important that He grew to fulfil His divine purpose.
I pray that God comforts Chioma and Davido. May their beautiful and beloved son, Ifeanyi rest in the bosom of Christ.
Above all, I pray that they and many young ones will come to the knowledge of Christ and live their lives for Him. Amen 🙏🏾💐

ReplyDeleteHe has had so much tragedy in his very young life, so sad. My heart breaks for Chioma she took so much criticism and negativity from others to bring her child into this world. May God ease their pain and bring back their joy one day. I hope their support network is there for them. There is true sorrow in this life, sometimes I wonder why. Gosh

ReplyDeleteI am in deep pain about Ifeanyis death, because I believe this is an avoidable death. We take things for granted in this country. Why didn't they cover or build a barricade around the swimming pool. This same thing happened to Dbanj and yet they did not learn from it. People that construct pools in people s houses, are they not supposed to offer that option. I don't really understand our mentality in this part of the world. If we want to copy oyibo, let us copy them correctly. How can you have an open pool in a house where you have kids, without knowing that you have to cover it up.
