  1. Jesus Is The Life!!
    John 14:6.

    Excerpts!!

"Knowing the origin of life is one of science’s most perplexing mysteries. No one has ever created life. The very source or substance of life hasn’t been known to man. But 1 John 1:2 tells us something so profound; it says, life was manifested, and we have seen it"

"This means life came out of obscurity and was shown to us. How? Who or what did John and the people of his day see that they called life? It was Jesus! He is life personified. Hallelujah! Imagine that you saw someone or something that says to you, I’m life; I’m responsible for your existence. What would you think?"

"Jesus is the resurrection and the life. God gave Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as God has given Him.(John 17:2)"

    Confession!!

I have the very life and nature of God in me, because I’m born again. This God-life makes me impregnable, causing me to walk in victory, glory, dominion and excellence always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

    Further Study:
    John 10:10 AMPC; 1 John 5:11-13 NIV; 1 John 1:1-3.

  2. Rahab was a prostitute, but she was chosen by God to be the great great great grandmother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This will sound absolutely ridiculous to many. Why choose a harlot to be in the lineage of the Son of God? But that's the God we serve. His ways are not our ways. He chooses people (no matter how unqualified they think they are), then He equips and qualifies them! πŸ’―
I want to encourage someone today. People have mocked you, called you useless, and written you off. Today, God will use you so mightily, the world will marvel! Don't give up on God. Most importantly, don't write yourself off!

  3. Psalms 20:6
"Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand."

The Living God will protect and preserve you in time of evils and He will rescue you from the hand of destroyers, those who gang up against you will fail, and you will not fall to the pit and snare of the enemies.
The Lord God will listen and honour your voice, He will do unto you according to your desire.
I pray and decree again the Lord God Almighty will fortify you with His power, He will strengthen and surround you with pillars of fire and no power, no man,
no conspiracy will overcome you in the name of Jesus Christ.
    Good morning

  6. THE TRUTH ABOUT GIVING

'He who supplies seed... will...increase your store.' 2 Corinthians 9:10 NIV

Here's what the Bible teaches about giving:
    (1) You always get back more than you give. 'He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness' (2 Corinthians 9:10 NIV). When Paul talks here about 'seed', he's talking about money. Some of the money God gives you is to be used for your own needs, and some is to create 'a harvest of righteousness'. Paul explains: 'They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever' (2 Corinthians 9:9 NIV). In other words, you must show compassion towards those who are hurting and give generously to those who are unable to provide for themselves. The Bible says that when you give to the poor, you actually lend to the Lord, and he will repay you (see Proverbs 19:17). Can you imagine the interest God pays? Jesus said: 'Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you' (Luke 6:38 NIV).
    (2) You should give, expecting to be blessed. You say, 'If I get more, I'll give more.' 'No, you have the cart before the horse. It's the level of your giving that determines the level of your receiving, not vice versa. So break through your barrier of fear and put God to the test. He won't disappoint you. Once you have experienced his blessing, you will never want to live any other way.

No Nollywood movie tops Brotherhood for now, but ANIKULAPO holds its head high among the best of 2022 so far.

There is a lot to be impressed about, especially if I am to consider the richness of culture displayed in the story, soundtrack, costumes and the set.

Even beyond that, the movie left me thinking about how flawed we all are, and how we are quick to judge other people for their flaws without considering how we (and the society) may have contributed to those flaws.

My point is fully expressed in the characters of Saro and Arolake.

Saro may be judged for his actions in the movie, but remember that he is a broken man sold into slavery very early in life as repayment of debt owed by his parents. That suggests that he lacked any proper upbringing or mentoring that could have shaped his character to exemplary levels.

He however tried to gather his life together by moving into a new town but he somehow found himself in the arms of a sugar mummy who further messed up with his feelings with bumbum and money. πŸ˜‚

If you also consider how his romance with Arolake started, you may not be surprised that he ended up treating her that way.

This young man was on his way home when he was ambushed by a woman who pushed him to the floor and had sex with him. Flip that scene around, and there would be mayhem unleashed by a particular gender. πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„

But then, Saro enjoyed the whirlwind romance until they were caught and he died his first death. After that, he continued with Arolake (out of gratitude) until his Yoruba Demon DNA became fully activated by “yansh”. πŸ˜‚

His ultimate undoing was his foolishness sha.

No man in his right mind should turn on a woman who has been there for him after he lost everything. But Saro lost his mind after getting too comfortable.

That’s a lesson for the rest of us.

Arolake might also be blamed for leaving the palace in Oyo to run away with Saro, but we should not forget that she was also forcefully married off as a child against her will. She had no choice and no love for the King.

Furthermore, she was thrown in the midst of two other palace wives who hated her, tried to kill her once and would keep trying.

If na you dey her postion, you sef go run follow fine man! πŸ˜‚

Laslas, na the Akala bird I blame for everything sha.

Why was it so careless to have left such a power behind for two broken people? Dem nack am small oraimo cord for head, e run leave him power behind. Shior!

We suppose find that bird, kill am take do barbecue or peppersoup for Beau-harri. πŸ™„

    2. It's the richness of culture for me in that movie sha. No! No! I really love how our culture was portrayed there, so beautiful and that's the only thing that I really love about the movie. You see Saro he deserved whatever he got afterwards. He even looked king eyeballs to eyeballs, hian πŸ™„

They build character and values; mold lives, discover skills and talents; and nurture them for the benefit of students and the nation. Respect and appreciate your teachers because their roles are important for your life.

  49. I just got back from BEP yesterday and i'm confused. I think i'm an introvert because i hardly start conversations with people, don't keep friends cos i don't like people getting too close as i don't like sharing personal details, i can be in a room with someone and if the person doesn't speak, we can be that way all day. On the other hand, i love going out, partying, clubbing, social gatherings and all.
Right from when i was a kid, my parents always made comments like "this one is quiet " ,"this one does not talk". And that made me feel like being quiet is a flaw. I know i can be quiet o and people think because of that, they can ride me, but they are always shocked when i show them my other side

  52. I remember once in my SS3, my dorm mates and I were still taking our bath when we should be in class (lol), and our house matron found us in the bathroom and tried to attack ONLY me, cos obviously, i was the easiest target or so she thought..
So she picked up a toilet bucket(if you see, this bucket!, people who went to boarding house will understand), and tried to pour the dirty water on me. Mehn, the way i hit the bucket and flung it out of her hand, hahaha her eyes were as big as saucers. One day, i heard her telling another matron how i can kill (God forbid) and nobody will ever think it was me. I laughed in my mind because i don't look for trouble but if you want it, i'll give it and na you go run.

My child's school is so considerate, while other schools are on holiday today, they decided to still open but will close two hours earlier than normal time.
