INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.
Few days ago, I was in the kitchen cooking and my second boy was hovering around me. I kept asking him to leave and stop getting in my way but he was clingy and my nerves were getting rattled.
My phone rang and I looked away for a second, the next thing I saw was the whole gas cooker falling towards him and the contents of the hot pot flying in his direction.
I screamed and ran towards him and picked him up, the gas top fell off and the fire was jutting towards his face. Just in time the glass cover fell on top deflecting the fire from his face.
I ran out of the kitchen with him and as I got to the door, I looked back and noticed that the only thing holding the gas cooker from falling completely was the gas hose and it was about to drop off.
If that should happen I knew an explosion would be eminent. I was so scared, I dropped him and ran back to the kitchen to switch off the burner.
The fire stopped, but I was so shaken and totally surprised that the boy was unscathed. Nothing happened to him, I can’t explain how it happened because I saw the pot of hot rice fall over his head yet nothing was on him.
It was just God that stepped in.
I cried my eyes out, it was God that stepped in, yet this little human was so unaware of the danger that we just escaped.
I had a lot of cleaning to do and still had to make them breakfast but I don’t think I have fully recovered from the shock of the whole thing.
My kids are totally banned from the kitchen till further notice.

Next time you are cooking, please try engaging them with their toys because if you ban them from entering the kitchen and you are inside, the havoc will be done somewhere else.... Engage them near the door of the kitchen..

PINKYS CORNER
My Life Is a Testimony and everyday of my life, I put death in my plans and more reason I hate to offend people and also love to forgive people easily in order to have peace of mind all the time(but no one wants to die young).
Some days back, I left my POS stand and went to Iwo road to help someone get something (name withheld) because I know much about it. Going to get the thing will fetch me 5k (as man must chop). I left and asked a bike man to take me down there to and fro (Note, the bike man na Hausa man).

We got to the place and got what I needed to purchase.
On our way home, the okada went through a particular road which I don't know but I wasn't scared because I know he can't ride me to a dangerous place. We were about to negotiate the other side of the road in order to face the road to Gate. I don't just know how it happened, he saw a one jeep coming with speed which I thought he will just slow down, can you believe the he decided to speed off just to beat the jeep.
The man was so confused because he didn't want to kill us, he tried applying his brake but all to no avail. He eventually succeeded putting his Jeep to a stop. The bike man who carried me was totally out of control and we both fell off the bike but glory be to God, nothing happened to me, infact, no scratches. I only had my phone screen broken but not totally damaged, still manageable. All this while, never knew what I went to buy had been destroyed by another vehicle .
I was confused and so scared at the same time because I saw death and everything about my system changed. I just ignored the bikeman without paying him and went down to buy another one with my money and ordered Uber to take me back because I was not stable physically and mentally until I got back home.
It was God's mercy, grace and undiluted love that kept me..You know how you feel when death is staring at you

So, I read the Chronicles yesterday (after a verrrrry long time) with the right of reply yesterday (pertaining to that husband and wife who dropped chronicles cuz of ego and untidiness) and I have to say some of u BV's just tend to bash without even having a chill! Y'all heard a side of the story and next thing see insults hurling left right and centre, when right of reply came, how did y'all feel? Didn't y'all feel daft? ReplyDeleteMade me remember when the daughter of a former neighbor of mine fell off the balcony and landed on a concrete floor. My goodness!!! I was standing just outside the compound gate when i heard that crash gush!!!! Her eyes socket almost popping out but thank God ... She survived brain intact, went for serious surgery on the eyes And today nobody can detect any injury on the eyes. God be praised 🙌🙌
