IN HOUSE MEMO

I am not my usual bubbly self today.......

Today i remembered how my Mum in law fell into coma, she was induced into it for medical reasons but inside the coma it all went South..... I cant give too much details cos of data privacy oh, her kids already begged me not to blog about their mum and details when she died....LOL

I still have the photo of my mum in law after she breathed her last breath, it happened right in front me , I saw how the last breath left her like a whistle, like a whole being coming out of the mouth...... IT WAS SHOCKING EXPERIENCE FOR ME and i dont think i have healed....

Big brother star Rico's passage brought back the memories


May God heal everyone going through some kind of pain from losing someone.

It's good to be sincere with one self. This won't make you do to others what you don't want them to do to you in the name of "they are suffering".


I thought my neighbor's wife whose flat is upstairs is always the one washing their clothes, I never knew they give it out to someone to wash because all I keep noticing is, the clothes just get on the wires made for drying washed clothes.


I have never come across her washing downstairs,so I thought she did The washing in their bathroom until Wednesday evening (say 4pm). I came home to eat, immediately I got to the kitchen, I heard someone singing behind our kitchen window because the well is also located behind the kitchen.(Note: pumping machine don spoil and they are not even ready to contribute for the repair). I had to just do small aproko to see who was singing, so I opened the back door that leads to the other side of the building where the well is located.


Hmmm, I saw one young lady looking like an old woman due to hardship and the stress of living in this blessed Country called Nigeria. We exchanged pleasantries. When she looked up to reply my greetings, I saw her holding pant( I mean pata obirin).
Imagine adding your pata to your clothes for someone to wash for you all in the name of "sebi na money I go pay".


I am not pleased at all with such manner. We need to do well, not only to our children or family, also to people at Large. I can't imagine how on earth will a woman be so lazy to the extent of giving out her pata to someone for washing. So disgusting.

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD


One random evening I was strolling through the streets of my social media pages and checking in on all the parenting hubs I belong to and I stumbled on a woman’s post.


She posted a picture of this adorable and beautiful toddler and her caption shocked me to my bone marrows. She stated that her two years old has started puberty.


She had proofs and everything, the doctors pointed it to her that the little girls hormones was been disrupted hence the early puberty.


She saw an endocrinologist ( an expert in hormonal disease related issue) and they informed her that a lot of research is being done into beauty products used especially by African, American women and how it affects the hormones.


According to her, the major thing they used were essential oils and they stopped it. Within few months the little girls breast reduced back to normal and other puberty signs began to go.


It is said that this products increase the estrogen levels in both male and female.
My head has been spinning since I read this, all I can think of is all the hair cream, body cream, hair relaxers etc used for kids and the possible effects on their bodies in the future.


The ingredients in this products are called endocrine disrupters and said to be present in most of our beauty products. A lot of this ingredients are linked to infertility, fibroid.

One of the culprit is Phenoxyethanol a very common ingredients in beauty products, this ingredients can be toxic to the liver, hormones and kidney.


I am checking all my cream’s ingredients and that of my kids for endocrine disrupters henceforth. No more essential oils also till I am well informed on what to look out for.


I plan to do more research in this area and give an update when I do.

These things if used minimally cannot cause this kind of damage, some people have turned from black to white due to bleaching, they look good and all but disaster is sure because a lot of damage has been done... If you are reading this and bleaching and also rubbing cream for your children to look light skinned, you are killing them...STOP IT!!!

''My neighbor that always buys something from my shop came on Monday morning and bought things but her money was not complete, it was remaining 500naira she said her daughter will bring the money for me. After sometime I saw the girl passing by and I asked her if her mom gave her money to give me and she said No,I said ok and she left. 

She passed again thirty minutes later and went to my neighbors shop and bought jumbo bread and came to my shop and gave me the 500 naira, I asked her ah this one you passed my shop and bought the bread another place while I have it in my shop ,what happened?

She said her mom is angry because I asked her about the 500 naira so she told her not to buy from me. I was surprised, since that time the girl has stopped greeting me even her mom is avoiding me. Please bvs, did I do wrong?''

Dont mind that woman, she did not have any intention of paying you back the money so soon....If she likes let her go and buy everything in the other shop.. Just ignore her and continue to greet her if you want... Ignore the behaviour, she go show herself for the other place. Dont fell bad cos you did not do anything wrong, igbese kills a hustle.

BV SLIM SHADY HAS A VISITOR 

''Good morning bv, I have not been able to sleep well for some days this week. A rat entered my room on Friday and since then I've not been able to get rid of it. 

I bought "rat commando" and the rat poison seller directed me on how to use it. He advised that I mix little amount of the poison with food, in the first attempt it was mixed with rice and the mixture was kept at strategic places, for 3days I didn't perceive any smell of a dead rat yet I didn't hear it's awkward sound after the very day I set the poison for it. 

I discovered that the day I do a new poison mixture is the day it makes the awkward sound around the room the most, then after that day I won't hear it's sound again. There is not hole anywhere here that I would say it's hiding in a hole and it comes out fromm the hole when it likes. 

A day before yesterday I did the same thing because I know the rat has not left the room even though I couldn't hear the sound. This time I used fish. I poisoned the fish and kept but that day it made a whole lot of noise that I kept waking up from time to time to spank on any place that the noise was coming from, at least to scare the rat that somebody is around because I didn't have the energy to ransack the place.

 I would wake up, give the place the noise was coming from one or two spanks and go back to sleep, those times that the sleep was sweeting me I would looked around for anything I could place my hands on and stone the noisy area at least those strategies stoped the rat from disturbing me for some minutes so I could sleep for say 30mins or more.

 When I came back last night I checked and couldn't find the fish I kept close to the door. Does it mean that this poison couldn't kill the rat? I just can't deal! I am tired?''

Hahahahahahhahahahahahaha God abeg!

*LOOKS AWAY INTO MEMORY LANE*  Me that grew up with rats and would go looking for them to know if they are OK if i didnt see them for a day.... Now i cant even imagine that we didnt get any of these infections caused by rats... We used to share garri with them and i would know they had visited from the smell of the garri....YUCK!!!
