    I woke up today, reflected on a few things about my beautiful City, Kano, and I burst into songs of praise. 🎵🎶
    As a little boy, I witnessed countless religious/ethnic riots. Very deadly ones! That I am alive today, is a miracle. If I begin recount all the experiences here, space no go dey again o. But today, riots in Kano, have become history! Na God.
    And then came BH in 2012, making Kano a LIVING HELL. The sound of Bomb Blasts became a 'regular' tone - Churches, Mosques, Motor parks, drinking joints, markets etc were attacked. Blood flowed freely. People were slaughtered and shot daily. Millions of people left Kano to other states, but some of us stubbornly stayed back. Today, God has shown us mercy in this ancient, beautiful City.
    Kano has gone from one of the worst states in terms of safety, to one of the safest right now in Nigeria. Na God! 💯
    I want to return thanks to Him. He has been faithful to us here. Long may this peace reign!! We thank you Jesus.
    I pray for other states besieged by rioters, terrorists, kidnappers etc, that peace will reign and those behind the evil, will be exposed. 🙏

    Good morning everyone.
    I appreciate you all for your comforting words. Now I know I have another family here.

    The traditional rites began immediately His Imperial Majesty passed on. The most important aspect of the burial rites is witnessed by the 'initiates' of the royal court only, the general public is allowed to witness the rest of it.

    I wish His Majesty a safe passage to the 'land of the spirits' (I hope you understand that in Africa our kings don't die), and I pray that His Majesty does not sleep but join his ancestors in interceding for our land.
    I also pray that God forgives his misdeeds and grant his soul a peaceful rest.

    I shall be limiting my social activities for few days until the first seven days of mourning is completed. May the Lord comfort our family and also protect us from all ills during this period.

    Today is my 40th and I truly don't know how to feel.I appreciate God , my parents and siblings.I don't feel loved and I am blessed with 5 children.We are doing very well, highly placed in our respective careers but I truly don't have love for my spouse,I sometimes feel I don't want the marriage but he is adamant on letting me go.He had abused me in the past verbally and emotionally and has truly repented but the spark in the marriage is gone.Fear of what to start, what to do as soon as I left is another thing holding me back also.My children are ages 9- 6 months.They all wished me a happy Birthday this morning but he chose to be cold and left for exercise.

      Thank God you admitted he's changed. Marriage is not to be taken lightly, like when there's no spark, you just up and leave. No ma'am. Try. Look for ways to spice things up. Buy gifts for each other, go out, bathe together, kiss each other randomly, spank his butt... There are many ways to spice up your union. Communicate with each other, no matter how uncomfortable the discussion might be at the time, talk about it. It helps a lot. With time, God's willing, he won't be cold. Don't give up ma'am. Fight for your home❤️

Pretend like he doesn't exist and pls stop having more kids. It tells on you emotionally and psychologically and even more physically. Start looking good and packaging your body, not for any man but for your self esteem and happiness. Bring home take-away and eat and laugh in the house. Make calls to happy people who make you smile, go on social media and cruise. Follow funny pages and laugh from time to time. Since you have the money and your kids, pls create happiness for yourself and ignore him.
