- Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has expressed mixed feelings over comments credited to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, advising Northerners that they should vote for him in the 2023 election because he hails from the northern region. Wike said if true, such a statement was a threat to the unity of the country.

-. The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, will on November 28 swear in the 62 new Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) whose appointment was announced on September 29. A statement yesterday in Abuja by the Supreme Court’s Director of Information, Dr. Festus Akande, said the event, earlier planned for November 21, was shifted to accommodate other activities of the court.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government of denying its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, of a campaign rally venue in Kaduna State. The campaign rally was originally scheduled to hold at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Stadium (ABS), but a few hours to the event, the approved application was withdrawn.
