Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative...

 Hmmm...

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
REASONS TO LEAVE A MARRIAGE

My husband and I have been married for close to 2 years. I was not crazy about him when we got married. He treats me well, very hands on with the children, does the house chores to help out.

He’s not so much of a good conversationist and sometimes it frustrates me. He’s also not too handsome like that. Sometimes I think of leaving. Please are these reasons enough? I’ve never mentioned this to ....

These are the reasons you want to leave? Are you OK?.. You must be joking! He is not too handsome? does he look like that former governor? even if he does, he is a man that deserves love and respect.
You should not have married him if you feel this way about him..
Please leave so that someone else can find him...By the time wey you realise say nothing dey for street, it will be too late!

  1. Leave and let better woman that will appreciate that man come in. You're not meant to be in a stable and peaceful home that's why you think you're missing something. People trained in an abusive environment will find peaceful people boring

    2. You want to leave him because he isn’t handsome?
Dint you see him throughout your dating period? Or you were too desperate to get married and now you expect him to change like a butterfly.
My guess is that you have met someone more attractive or people complement you to the point you think you deserve better.
My dear, those other people may not have the great qualities he has. Next time look well.

If you also feel you want to live you best life, free him in peace rather than kill him with frustration.

      Push up (original)

    3. He's not such a good conversationalist, he's not so handsome... Maybe the Bimbo who died this morning after years of domestic violence had a husband who was handsome and a good conversationalist... I feel sorry for you poster.

There's no singular reason why you should still be stringing the man on if you feel this way about him.

    1. Please allow me reply under this comment.
Poster, I wrote in a chronicle like yours some months ago. I felt the same as you say you're feeling so I commiserate with you. Some of the comments I received helped my sit with myself and evaluate what I really want from marriage and life.

I decided to make myself happy and not rely on my happiness to come from him. I try to understand him, his strengths and his weaknesses. I magnify his strengths in my mind, and I diminish his 'not-so-strengths', I have accepted them and I overlook. His strengths are good enough for me. I recently realized that our love languages are different and that he really does love me but doesn't show it how I think it should be shown. I am emotional, he isn't at all. I love touch, he detests touch! But he's learning small small.
I also prayed and still pray to God not to let discontent be my undoing.

I want to add that sometimes, social media gives us a false perspective of what love and relationships should be like. It makes us compare our circumstances to others. This is clichรฉ but it's true... Social media only shows you snapshots from a person's life, it doesn't show you the full video.

After a few months, I'm glad to report that I really am happy now. I'm happy with myself, I'm happy with my husband. We just came back from a vacay and we had the best time together. I'm more attracted to him, I was just telling him yesterday that he's looking more handsome. He's making little adjustments and the ones he can't adjust, I let him be. I make my own adjustments too.

Only you know what your limits are. If you know you can work on yourself and you will not begin to detest him like Shining says, please stay and adjust and pray. If you know you can't take it, you won't give the marriage your all or you will cheat in the future, please gently leave the man. But my dear, there is nothing outside oh, so be careful so you don't trade a crown for thorns.

As in, I can't even explain it. Then there are the ones who don't know how gadawful boring they are, regurgitating stale stories and dry jokes, kpele.

But to divorce because of that????

Wear G-string mbah, let's go dancing mbah, let's try salsah class mbah na to sit down dey talk about big brother naija. Let us go to the voice mbah let us go to chareokey? Mbah... ⁶⁹% of women are absolutely without excitement on Thier own. One of the reason is what they gist about is all the risky, debasing behaviours related to unsafe sexcapdes. Along with a massive to of gossips of other people's businesses and made up lies. Add value to his life and see if gist no go pop up.
