  5. As a man, I totally agree with this message, and this has been my philosophy from Day 1.

You will take care of a woman for 10 years and nobody will hear about it. You will attend to all her needs and her family's needs with little or no gratitude.

But let life hit you hard and she spends on you for a week. Insults will start flying left and right. Everything you do will irritate her. All of a sudden, you will hear: "After i picked him from the gutter" "After I fed him" "After I clothed him"
Anybody who hears this will think you were a destitute sleeping on the roadside every day. Yet, this is someone who for every naira she had spent on you, you had spent a thousand more on her.

The one that pains me the most is "You're poor and you still want to have sex". As if being rich is now the criteria to sleep with her. If it's transactional sex a man wants, he knows where to find it. But to hear these words from his wife or fiancée can break the hearts of even the strongest men. That's why i find it funny when women say that men are selfish.

When you now bounce back on your feet and begin to live your life, she will report you to every ear. Nobody was there when your woman was treating you like trash. Nobody knows how many times you had to pretend to be out late, simply because you didn't want to face insults at home

We read it on this blog every time, so i am sure this applies to many Nigerian women.
To the men reading this, do your own part and leave the rest for God. Don't kill yourself over a woman because when the tables are turned, she wouldn't do half of it for you.

    1. Receive e-hugs my bro.
Feels like you've been hurt a million times but I assure you there are still many ladies out there who foot the bills and their husbands look forward to coming home.

I pray you find one of them.🤞

    2. Chai! It's not easy for men Sha! In some ways u a Dey see shege!
Reminds me of the way people are calling Cory Hardrict (Tia Mowry's husband) all sorts of names just because Tia seems to be the richer one. Like the man acts and all, he just never became a household name and that's just a matter of luck, I'm sure he's not broke. And I think that's not fair.

Anyway, keep your head up and hold on to your mantra. Because truly a man should have pride if not, some women will want to use you to clean the floor.

You finished the matter. Well 99.8%.

Just that you forgot those wives who ask to be repaid all they spent while their husband was truly low on funds. And they always calculate it to the last kobo spent even for the items they bought for themselves alone.

    4. Sorry for your experience bro, it's sad that good men meet harsh women and vice versa, my own be say from when men begin chyke me, even as a teenager, na so so taxing oh. I even felt I was jazzed at one point. I just understand that not everyone has that grace of getting financial favours from the opposite gender. I just thank God for establishing me and keep building with my hubby.
