Actress Cha Cha Eke Lists Signs Of Mental illness...

The actress who has confirmed that she inherited mental illness from her mum wants you to know what to do by giving tips that helps you if you have this illness or not...

According to her;

"If you have anger issues, I mean hot temper, the kind that would never go away except you take out your vexation on something or someone, darling you have mental illness.

If you feel bittered or saddened to the extent of inflicting injury on yourself, you gat mental illness

If you are out of touch with reality, you are paranoid, hallucinations, delusions. Your thought patterns are dysfunctional. The mood swing never ends. That is mental illness.

If you recognize any of these traits I mentioned and because of fear of being stigmatized you refused to align with the truth, you are doing yourself a great harm.

Mental illness can be inherited or acquired. Intense trauma can give one mental illness, poverty, living a hectic lifestyle can give one mental illness. Just like asthma, sickle cell anemia, diabetes, ulcer and all kind of sicknesses. The brain too gets sick, its cells need pills to function properly, so there are pills for these illnesses.

Please if you fall under any of these categories by all means get medical attention, somebody just died. This wouldn't have happened if she was on drugs."

Let me tell you, people that are truly mad does not know they’re mad. So for you to keep telling us you’re mad means that you’re okay. You are very sane and if you think you can use this fake madness to commit crime and go free ehn, nne, i ga agariri nga, I will personally make sure you pay for your crime PERIOD! Ogini di ifea

    3. Kidjo avoid me please. Her brother said she’s mentally well only for her to come and say she inherited madness from their mom and her innocent daughters will inherit the madness for what na? Have you been to a psychiatric hospital before? Mad people will be screaming I’m not mad I’m not mad and the doctors will ask the nurses to chain them very well, they are the real mad people. Anybody constantly telling you he/she is mad is very ok. Probably trying to commit crime and get away with it.

    4. @Fan Emmanuel, I thought you were more enlighten than what you just said above. Or someone typed for you. Mental illness is not only when you pull clothe and enter road/Market. There are different types. Just as fertility issues are of different types, STD are different types, Cancer- different types, same with Brain illness, pls google is your Friend not police, She wont end up there. God bless her husband and keep her family in Jesus name. Please everyone take care of your Brain pls, eat foods that help the brain, be happy always, have friends/families you relate with on a daily basis, share your challenges even if it is on this platforms as anonymous (so people dont use it to mock you tomorrow which will further cause your mental illness). Dance, laugh, play, reduce stress, stay away from anything/one that causes you stress, know that any problem that dont kill you and you still breath - THERE IS HOPE EVEN WHEN THERE SEEMS TO BE NO HOPE!!!

    7. People who lack empathy have a mental illness. Fan seriously need evaluation. So because she spoke out and mentioned her mum and her family like any other typical Nigerian family are trying to hide the truth from the world so the brother comes out to debunk her story and because you hate her like you hate everybody else, she is lying.
Seriously Stella, Fan need evaluation, something is missing within her. Please post so she can get help.

    8. If you are ignorant of a topic, its better you just stay silent over it instead of making a mockery of ppl going through it....Everything shld not be cruise, joke. And people suffering mental illness are not all "mad" as you call u it. Either must they be chained or tear their clothes and enter mkt.....A high functioning bank executive can be suffering mental illness i.e the co-owner of Bukka dat recently committed suicide. They are so many forms of mental illness, pls educate yourself.

no I won't avoid you, it's better I enlighten you here so you change your mindset so you won't go outside to utter such words and disgrace this our association of BVNs with this kind yeye talk.
Yes, I've been to psychiatric hospitals countless times.

    11. Fan I dแป‹ too stubborn. If you don't know something, don't come and be talking like you're an authority on it. Accept correction sometimes. You can't have the last say everytime and your voice must not be louder than everyone's own.
You know nothing about mental illness so sit back and learn

  12. Excise me,i beg to defer, Not mental specialist but Anger does not qualify as mental illness. Venting when angry or letting someone know when angered is not mental illness. The better you vent out and say your mind, the better for your health.

    1. Asabe, the hasty manner you jumped to the wrong conclusion just because you are on the defensive shows something is off.

What she said is true. If you display is tense anger to the point you need to exert the energy on someone or something so you can feel okay, that is def a symptom.

If you like be living in denial, na you sabi.

    2. shut up...any fool knows just being angry is not the same as the kind of anger you have if you are suffering from mental illness. go back and read about the type of anger she talked about before commenting

Mental health problems contribute to 90% of suicidal cases in Nigeria but because we've not yet classified it as a serious issue, people don't know how bad it can get and how to help those that re suffering from it.

  18. "If you have anger issues, I mean hot temper, the kind that would never go away except you take out your vexation on something or someone, darling you have mental illness.

the first point she gave is happening to me, some times i just have pepper body without no reason, other times is due to someone not playing their part on an appointment or when we have a discussion to do something and you do not do you part as suppose. That alone triggers me like no tomorrow.

My anger habit increased when my ex husband was abusing me, when we got separated the same thing continue cos any little thing will trigger my anger, if a man talks to me come and see anger in me. When i finally got divorced with him the anger did not just go away.

I have been battling to come out of it, my whole system will not just be once someone has done something wrongly to me. The anger spirit comes and go, some times i am a very sweet soul and other times i am a terrible person. My own is just that i do not break things or fight people or try to place injury on anyone.

when i am angry i will show you that i am angry with you but after few minutes i am okay and i will be all nice with you. I have been praying for that to go away, i have attended deliverance still nothing has been done. What she said about inheriting it is so true cos i inherited this anger issue from my mother.

Some times i ask myself why did i have to inherited so much from my mum that i did not get good things from her but bad habits. I inherited heavy bleeding, fibroid, anger spirit, pepper body, bad marriage. I am only good with taking care of people, i can sacrifice my last card for people and i love to treat people like my children but this anger spirit will not let me be all sweet always.

Once the anger spirit comes up even my colleagues will not like me, i will speak to people rudely but when i am okay i will be so sweet. So this anger thing makes me look like two different person on the same cloth. I don't know how i can manage this spirit so that i will not lose all the important people in my life. My ex brought out the worst of that anger spirit in me.

    1. It is well with you. you can control your anger by counting 1 to 50 before responding to anyone whenever you get angry, before you get to 50, your annoyance would have been subdued and you become a little calmer before addressing the cause of the anger. This worked for a colleague of mine.

All you need is self control, you re in charge of your mind, do not let your mind be in charge of you. you should be in total control of your mind and how it works.

  20. Yes mental illness exist in different forms but hope there is a way to draw the line between bad behaviour/character that needs to be called out/ punished and mental illness? 'cos some woke humans are misbehaving (nasty, rude, abusive, violent ) and are claim mental health issues.
