He stated this during the inauguration of 26-member Advisory Council for the Peoples Democratic Party 2023 Campaigns, held at the Banquet hall of Government House in Umuahia, the state capital.
Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa a former presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, chairs the Abia PDP Advisory Campaign Council, while Chief Uzodinma Okpara and Professor Paul Ananaba, SAN serves as the Deputy chairman and Secretary of the Abia PDP Advisory Campaign Council
The PDP Advisory Campaign Council has Chief Uzodinma Okpara and Professor Paul Ananaba, SAN has Deputy chairman and Secretary respectively.
Governor Ikpeazu admonished council members to evolve a strategy that would lead the party to total victory in the forthcoming general elections in 2023 in Abia state.
He maintained the advisory council must not leave any stone unturned in the march towards victory in the coming elections, tasking them to embark on door to door campaigns especially at the grassroots.
Ikpeazu, who doubles as the Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum, expressed confidence in the ability of members of the State PDP Advisory Campaign Council to lead the party to victory in 2023 elections, and further tasked the council members to ensure they broker genuine reconciliation for all aggrieved members.
