This is the Ooni of Ife's New wife, Olori Mariam Anako - Ogunwusi .
She is beautiful, easy going and very intelligent ....
Mariam is reportedly in her mid-30s, and a top management executive (Administrative Manager) of Nestoil Limited; Nigeria’s largest indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the oil and gas sector.
Her immediate elder sister, Medinat Anako is a lawyer and businesswoman and also Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs and Kogi State Diaspora Focal Point Officer (DFPO) to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
Another of her elder sister, Mrs. Raliat Abdulrahman is the Special Adviser to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila.
The Anakos are prominent Igbira people from Kogi who settled in Ilorin, Kwara State with their family home in Adewole Estate.
She is a beauty. Chai! This my state Ooni has eyes for beautiful women. I hope this one will last. Congratulations to her.

ReplyDeleteOoni should just recognise all his wives, polygamy is already a very tricky affair. It is unfair to keep some in the background and make one official. The little daughter he has, how does he expect that one to feel when she grows up? She's not some dirty secret. The only way this marriage will last is to recognise the existing and incoming wives. I don't understand why the Ooni is bent on pretense, he's fooling no one with an official wife, he is not English but Yoruba and yes even in 2022, women are willingly walking into polygamous marriages so nothing new under the sun. Ooni should do whatever with his full chest and not be a coward.
