ReplyDeleteI am sorry sir! You are capping in the nonsense and at the same time raving madt.
ReplyDeleteAs a teenager that grew up in Surulere, I remember Christmas eve or even from the 20th, my father would sit outside our compound on Akinhanmi Street till 4/5am drinking and eating with neighbours and friends, while my me, my mom and the maids are inside cooking. Of we come outside to give them fried chicken or pepper soup you will see other people in their compound having the same fun and enjoying the yuletide with no fear of anything. Even the air you breathe is calm.
My mother said back then if there was going to be a power outage they will announce in the radio about it and the duration which was never 24hours. Now you can't even worship in Church in the day, sit outside your compound and press phone during Christmas eve and collect slap or they bundle you and the phone for ransom, that is if you are lucky to be spared.
hnnmmm....gone are the days. But we hope for a miracle next year so as to recover the lost good old days if only we can vote right.
