ReplyDeleteWe are so quick to tell people to cut their coat according to their cloth...but in the same breathe, also telling them to "package" themselves to be something that they are not!
ReplyDeleteSometimes this thing known as "packaging" can actually be a hindrance. Imagine telling a potential helper that things are tough and you need assistance, but wearing (borrowed/fake) designer clothes; *insert county* weave; driving a rented luxury vehicle etc. to the meeting? Won't it be only side-eyes you will get?
