You see this example you gave, I personally know more than 3 ladies that dumped the man that trained them in uni.
One among them, the man was a rich illiterate, he married the lady, made her born for him while she was still a student hoping that would tie her down, guess what, she still dumped him after she graduated and started making her big cash, saying she can't cope with his illiterate mindset.

DeleteI can see the points made above, there are ingrates of both gender but in any situation you find yourself, it's important to apply wisdom. My hubby was financially down when I met him, not lazy, stingy or irresponsible but fell on hard times, I found myself being financially responsible for almost everything in the first 3 years we were together.
DeleteAs the Bible says, he found favour as he found me and things are a lot better financially for him now with several mouthwatering potential blessings still in process, I have activated my thinking cap on how to recoup most or all of what I've spent so far as I didn't feel good carrying so much financial burden.
I have an issue at work currently and I lied to him that my salary has been stopped for now then I nicely appealed to him to pay back the loan I gave him between now and December as I need to money to pursue something, he has been diligently supporting me and is gathering the money to pay back the loan.
I am happy as this proves he is responsible but just had a dry spell when we met, I have quarreled with him in times past over this and I realized I was being foolish, as we will eventually reconcile and still no money. I'm getting my funds back gradually. When dealing with such situations, be wise and cautious, let sand not enter your eye.
Women also have their own problem ooh. Na God go help us all .

'The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, he will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine' (1 Samuel 17:37 NKJV). There are no insignificant battles. The little ones equip you for the big ones that shape your destiny, so stand on your 'God experiences'. How you respond in a crisis is determined by the experiences you have had with God.
(3) They were easily influenced by others. David's brothers allowed the fears of those around them to erode their faith. Fear is contagious; if you listen to it long enough, you will get infected. You shouldn't be isolated from the world, but you must be insulated against its negative influences. Listening to Goliath frightened David's brothers, but it didn't frighten David. So who are you listening to today? Get God's opinion and build your life upon it; allow his word to settle every issue.

The only good thing that August did was to keep us alive, two days ago my mum fell ill again, was complaining of pains at the site where they did surgery on her, we've been running from pillar to post to ensure she lives. Money nko? The only thing left to sell is my Android phone, thinking of selling it so we can feed with the money but when I think of how I would need it for pictures and adverts for my make up and cosmetics/jewelry business, I hold myself and pray for God to bless us soon.

DeleteGoing through yesterday's chronicle just made me thank God my marriage to a guy who is 17 years older than me didn't work out again. I was 24 and he was 41. For one silly thing I did that I didn't take serious he called off the relationship and I cried cried cried begged him for days to please forgive me even though I know I didn't do wrong but for peace to reign. My friends started advising me to stop begging him that sef the age Gap is too much how am I coming. And I realized they were saying the truth because when were still together I was always acting mature mature around him. I was the one always trying to do the catching up. Small thing then I am childish.

Coz this girl has refused to eat nothing other than her cereal, she doesn't even take tea okay another thing she loves and can open mouth for is meat, but meat na food?? Ehhh, I blame myself, I didnt start it early but I've started already na? I grind the foods to pulp oo but once she tastes and it's not her cereal, case closed,she'll fight you and I cant force feed a child,I've tried it,na me give up oo. I wouldn't mind advice from experienced moms cos my tired is tired.

*Husband:* (furious, with a changed countenance). What ! You did what? You must be joking.. You will go back to your father's house today if this is true. You burnt the #500,000 my contribution money I hid in the mattress for us to roof our house.
*Wife:* Yepa ! You mean you have such huge amount in this house and you didn't tell me?
*Husband:* If I get you today, I will show you who I am. (With this, he ran to the backyard where the smoke was coming from. Seeing the ashes of the burnt mattress, he fainted.
*Lesson 1:* Never hide anything from your wife, she's your better-half.
*Lesson 2:* Never run faster than your husband, he's your head.
