There were gunshots while vehicles traveling through the highway were attacked. It was gathered that the fight started in Kaara market, Ajaase Ipo on Friday evening.

-. The Police in Benue State arrested two suspected kidnappers terrorising parts of the State. The suspects were said to specialise in kidnapping women.
One of their victims was a wife of a former local government chairman.
