Kizz Daniel was arrested on Monday after he failed to show up at his concert in Tanzania.
Speaking on Instagram live with Daddy Freeze,
The promoter of the show identified simply as Steven, said the ‘Buga’ crooner refused to perform because his gold chain in his luggage was missing.
The airline did not bring Kizz Daniel’s bag and he refused to wear any other thing to perform.
Steven said: “Kizz Daniel is still locked up at the station, he said the airline did not bring his bag that had his gold chain that’s why he cannot perform.
Although he had another gold chain on his neck. I spent nothing less than $300,000 on that show. I had the contract with Paulo to bring Kizz Daniel for the show.
“Paulo cried all night calling from America begging Kizz Daniel to perform at the show but he refused.”
The airline did not bring Kizz Daniel’s bag and he refused to wear any other thing to perform.

His ego got the best of him and this will be a problem going forward. It's easy to do this when you have a hot single but what happens in a few months or years when you are coasting on old glory? Promoters and investors need to know you are disciplined and will keep your word.
They already have your tape or are even playing your song off of Spotify. All you have to do is move your lips and carry the crowd but even that you wouldn't do? Because of your chain? Childish!
He should stay there till those who lost money get it back.
He has now been released but, I am glad the promoter reported the case. Him,and his management should be made to refund, or pay damages.
