Honestly but some Nigerians won't agree
ReplyDeleteIf only they will hear, by not selling their votes for just 2k or 5k.
ReplyDeleteI hope students are listening,
ReplyDeleteYou better get your PVC and come out en masse to vote!
If not FG and ASUU will continue to f**k you up for 600 more years.
As for that ASUU president🤐
The way some of you talk throws me off balance. You think he's the only one as the president that makes decision concerning ASUU?
DeleteInstead of attacking your president , you're busying slandering innocent man.
Comment with your name nah @anonymous13:21
DeleteBut who among them is not like the aforementioned?
ReplyDeleteSad but true
ReplyDeleteGod will save us from criminals rulling this nation
ReplyDeleteIf you check well now, he voted buhari.
ReplyDeleteABIONAH,
DeleteASUU strikes are almost as old, or older than some of you.
I hope Nigerians won't sell their votes for 2k 5k
ReplyDeletePls get your PVC and vote right!
I hope so too, but with the hunger in the land, I just fear that some might not endure

ReplyDeleteAs a UI student in the 80s, who took part in the post June 12 1993 protests that forced out the greediest ruler in Nigeria’s history, Abacha, I find the docility of Nigerian college students very concerning. Nigerian campuses used to be the youth wing of civil protests that Gani Fawehinmi, Tai Solarin, Fela, etc led bravely.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to sit at home for years? Its an era of mass online availability of education. can the youths pause posting inane stuff on TikTok & IG & actually use all SM for change for once? Turn on your phone cameras, live stream protests in front of your governors lodges till they bring ASUU back from adjunct jobs in glorified high schools/business centers/paper mills to the major universities known across the globe as suppliers of Nigerian human capital? Yes you tried with #endsars but it had less than 100k participants, why so docile? Ever read about the million man MLK March on Washington DC that resulted in the civil rights act?
Do you not realize there is strength in
numbers? That we have less soldiers/law enforcement folks than a quarter of the population of one of the oldest six universities in Nigeria? Most of them are carrying bags for “madams” & acting as security guards to the looting class anyway!
With 774 LG headquarters, 36 state houses, one Presidential lodge & >200 million citizens we sit & pray to God as if Israel did not often protest even wrongly in the bible. Who enslaved Nigerian youths minds? Btw none of the top candidates can fix things if the citizenry is this passive. Its mass hypnosis to pretend that ANY of them is a “savior”. One sure is younger & has more stamina/capacity to at least read & understand policy, thank God! If Buhari, Atiku, Tinubu & their band weren't so greedy, there will be enough money to fund education, healthcare & social programs for the citizenry. Who hypnotized college students to sit home for months, looking on while their commonwealth is stolen & flaunted by the band of thieves they call rulers whose kids school abroad, who are busy buying G-wagons & range rovers for their kids, wives & side chics who live like princes in Dubai, London & major cities across the world. Can we at least politely make a case for the candidate with the “least known” corruption record, the most stamina who can at least hold & read documents without his hands shaking? It’s not about age, we all pray to grow old but stamina & health. Obasanjo at 85 has stamina. Of course Sowore is my ideal candidate but he stands no chance against the establishment as he is too radical. We can at least settle for the least corrupt of the top 3 candidates! Gbera, Gbera go get your professors back to class….Buga to the college students👍🏾!
