WEDNESDAY IN HOUSE NEWS...

 Hailings.....

IN HOUSE MEMO

I Salute everyone and hope all is well with you?
The wild fires across Europe is not a Joke... Those of you Blog visitors in the UK; I hope that no one lost their home to the fire? I have never experienced this kind of heat before...

All those Nigerian Ladies bleaching should stay away from Europe cos they will develop serious health issues... The heat and serious sweating will turn them to pepper soup..Geeeez!

If you had 10k right now what would you do with it? I am just asking oh, there is no giveaway.

Nigeria is so hard right now that my inbox is full of blog visitors asking for help and the help they are even asking for are not small ones oh.... Some of them leave me shocked. Some of you ask to borrow that you will pay back? I laugh!..

The ones i borrowed no longer comment on the blog and some have gone anonymous just cos they dont wanna pay back.. They dont even reply mails again... I dont borrow money anymore, i give without expecting it back....

Please if you borrow money and for some reason you cannot pay back, please dont vanish. Approach the person and explain without an attitude problem.

I am yet to start smelling or tasting again but i must eat.... Na wah! #thunderfayacovid19

Enjoy the rest of your day...

I am looking at the 50th X 3 comment.

I like you all....LOL

  2. Divine Health Confessions!!

I am born in the image and likeness of God. As He is, so am I in this world. I am not affected by sickness or the rudiments of this world. I am founded on Christ the solid rock; my life cannot be shaken by negative reports or any news that is inconsistent with God’s Word because my life is tailored according to God’s design and this is evident in my health, job, finances, and family.

Na so dem increase fuel price without any one protesting, anyway the increment never bite.

    ReplyDelete

    1. The price of fuel is still going to increase simply because of the economics and logistics of getting it to the pump. It was either they leave the price with time wasting on queues and black market as the only options or just face reality knowing that any new government coming in will need to completely remove subsidy if there will be any chance of paying salaries. Before December, the price must rise again.

  18. I did something yesterday that is making me so proud of myself.

Só a while back, I asked my niece what she wanted for her birthday and without thinking twice, she screamed bicycle. I was like 'há, I don't have money oh' but she insisted it was bicycle she wanted.

Now she has an older brother, my nephew and there's no way I will buy something as obvious and eye catching as a bicycle for her and not buy for her brother so a agreed to buy for both of them. But this was because I was thinking bad as e bad, bicycle (those low budget, ikorodu level style) go sha cost btw 20-25k for her size and 25-30k for that of her brother, so sha sha, before I spend 55k, I go don buy the two bicycles, Efian!!!

I now told their mum to go and start pricing bicycle, na their high BP begin dey catch me oh. I started hearing 50k and above for one, hey! Meaning say I go dey spend almost 100k for two.

I don promise na so na to find how to do am remain. Só I told her mum to leave supermarkets and enter regular agbero market jare.

Long story short, na 90k I spend on top two low class, ikorodu level bicycles, yes, I'm crying, I'm not supposed to be able to afford such but I will tell u why I don't care about how much I spent on them.

Growing up ehn, we were quite without a lot of things because we were not rich and my parents focused all their financial energy on giving us a good education so we went without a lot of things, not the basic things but things for fun like bicycles and nice toys. You would see average kids in the neighbourhood riding theirs and u will long and long for a day u will have such. Then u will beg them to let u ride and they will be doing shakara for u. You will end up even going on stupid errands for them and unnecessarily trying to please ur age grade all so u can sit on their bicycles for 1 min.

When my brother had his first child, I promised myself that our kids will never grow up the way we did, If the parents couldn't afford them at the moment they need, I will find a way to swoop in. And by God's grace, I've been trying my best. Even when I was just a teacher earning 19,800 alongside my other small small income, I bought the kids their first bicycle and tricycle respectively.

Today, I am happy I have upgraded them again. This isn't even because I can comfortably afford it but because these kids must not live like we did.

I am so so proud of myself and no, not in a bragging way (because what is 90k to some people) but because of the ease at which I can do these things now.

Anyways, je ka fi oro yen le, what in God's name is wrong with Nigeria? How can I spend 90k on just two low grade bicycles abeg? 😳😳😳

  22. The golden rule for lending money now, is, don't give what you can't let go off. Give the pesin money wey you know say even if dem nor pay you back, e nor go pain you.
And to be fair, no be say some people nor wan pay back. Nigeria wan kee us. But we move!
To those who are owing and finding it difficult to pay back, may God bless you enough to pay back, and start something meaningful to make your life better. But if you intentionally nor gree pay, may you always get the urge to run outside naked when you are about to take your bath. 🙏🙏
