Never underestimate the power of a spoken word. Only one man in American history ever resigned from the presidency: Richard Nixon. Have you ever considered what brought Mr Nixon down? Traditional thinking says it was the tapes of his private conversations. But it wasn't the tapes, it was his tongue. It wasn't the tapes but what he said on the tapes that determined his demise.
The words tongue, mouth, lips and words are mentioned in the book of Proverbs almost 150 times; roughly five times in each of the thirty-one chapters. The fact that so much importance is placed on our words tells us we had better take care of what comes out of our mouths. Stop and consider this: in a period of fifty years, the average person says enough words to create twelve thousand volumes of three hundred pages each. If that's the average, think about the libraries you're filling and the legacy you're leaving behind. And sadly, some of the words you speak will never be forgotten! The poet wrote, 'If your lips would keep from slips, five things observe with care: To whom you speak, of whom you speak, and how, and when, and where.'
Solomon wanted his children to grow up with a heart of wisdom, so he said, 'My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad indeed; my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right' (Proverbs 23:15-16 NIV). So today, control your tongue.

Yesterday morning I woke up from sleep feeling weak and dizzy. I was also feeling feverish too. After freshen up, I went to the hospital to run some test. I got some little drugs as the doctor prescribed and I was told I need some rest and more of blood supplements intake.
ReplyDeleteI came back home and lay on my bed. Not too long, I started hearing a child being flogged. The next building to mine is housing a school. All I was hearing was "Uncle, I won't do it again. Please I'm sorry. I won't disobey my mummy again. Uncle you will wound me oo."
The teacher was flogging this child so heavily and saying, "next time you won't do that again." I felt so angry the manner he was flogging this child to an extent, the child started crying and shouting "my head oo, my head oo."
After some time he stopped and almost began again flogging when he saw the child had stopped crying.
Parents that report their kids to the school to be disciplined, is it that you can discipline them yourself or what? What if this guy inflict serious injury on this child I presume is not up to twelve years. I don't think that young man doing that is married let alone has kids. How do you flog a child this bad using all your strength panting? What if the child slump and die? What would you tell the parents or government?
Management of schools needs to pay attention and careful observation on their teachers and their treatment to the kids under their watch, for whatever happens, it will not only affect the teacher but also the school.
Maybe you do not know, using a cane, stick or whatsoever on any child in school, be it Public or private is now a serious offence. Inflicting bodily harm can even land one in jail cos it's viewed as a form of child abuse. There are other means of punishing a child. Good morning....

This is me saying thank you for all the recommendations you gave when i complained about battling with Acne for almost a year now. i tried the drug doxacylin as recommended but wasn't religious with it. then i got the Retin A cream and it has worked wonders.my face have really improved and I'm very happy and praying that this would be the end f my acne journey.

Retin A also has other functions like reducing fine lines from aging. As for your spot, use 'good molecules discoloration correcting serum' it's sold on Amazon but you can order it on Konga, it's pretty pricey but you should start seeing results in 2 weeks of consistent use.
