ReplyDeleteThere is normal discharge before period, another discharge after period, then ovulation discharge. As long as it is not smelly and itchy, I see no reason why you should be worried. Because discharge on almost a daily basis with different consistency is normal....ovulation discharge is about on the stretchy white side like egg white... the other type can be thick or thin depending on the time of the month...

DeleteDepends on your strength. Pap is stressful as you have to make it in bulk if you are busy or make it per feeding but it's natural then for baby food you just add hot water and milk and it's ready.
DeleteYou can fortify your pap with crayfish or other additives like some mother's do.
For my kids i have used both pap
and Nutribom which requires milk and Cerelac which I did not add milk to it as it already has milk but some mothers do add.
The summary is do what works for you. Depends on the one your baby likes the most. You can also make mashed cooked rice with milk, mashed avocado infact at 6 months babies are ready to explore. I remember boiling fish, mashed and debone it to feed one of my kid and the child loved it.
Give the baby both and observe the one s/he prefers and stick to it.Babies can be too choosy.

DeleteFirst of all buy the big can of Sniper for crawling insects(Read the can to be sure cos there's the one for flying insects too). It's should be about 2k-2500. Fumigate the whole house with it and follow the instructions on the can. You can finish the whole bottle in that single use for maximum result. Wear nose masks please and make sure the person spraying is the last person in the house.

When you get back, and have aired the house properly ,follow up with the green leaf sachets. Use a generous amount. Like 10 sachets for the whole house. I placed mine on folded blank sheets of paper that align with wall corners. I did this for easy removal.
Remember when spraying the sniper and the green leaf powder to identify their main source where they lay their eggs. I found mine to be a hole the burglar proof of the kitchen window.
You may still see a few of them after a week but don't be perturbed. Just take your mind of them or kill the few ones you see once in a while. Both the green leaf and sniper have a lingering effect of up two months. With time you wont see any roaches again.
Meanwhile for those shouting dirtiness, those tiny black species got nothing to do with hygiene!

I and hubby met three days after my period. Doctor asked me to buy clomid and start taking four days after my period which I later got and started five days after my period
I and hubby did not meet all through the time I was taking the clomid till now as he travelled urgently. Now I have not seen my period and it is one week late now. I did test with the test strip using my urine, it was negative. Pls what could be wrong with me? No vomiting or feeling sick
Maybe the clomid messed up your cycle.

DeleteI'm surprised the doctor did not start with thoroughly educating and guiding you on how to track your cycle and know when you're likely ovulating, that's the very first step!
DeleteChances of you ovulating 3 days after your period is very low except you're one of those with a very short menstrual cycle.
You said you didn't have set again after that initial one you had 3 days after your period ended, so my dear clomid wasted oh, because there was no sperm to fertilise the egg released.
NB: Change that your doctor, its a lazy approach to straight up place a woman on clomid if there's no strong indication for it, you can ignore this my advise if the doctor is a gynaecologist though.
Anon 16:57, day 14 is not sacrosanct for every woman actually, some could ovulate as early as day 10 while others could ovulate as late as day 17,18.

DeleteMonitor your diet, you could be allergic to certain food like yam, beans et al, cut off alcohol for the now. dust is also capable of causing itching. lack of certain vitamins in the body. Get vit C 1000mg for a day or 500mg(morning and evening) it helps in reducing the triggers that lead to itching as an antioxidant.
If you've tried the above and no positive result, then go for anti-histamine drugs(they should have recommended such for you at the hospital you went to) cause it's your body response to something that makes your body to release excess histamine, i.e the hormone responsible for itching. So you need antihistamines to curb it down, loratadine drug is one of the antihistamines.
Sugar was the culprit in my case. Cut down on sugar

Mine i found out I have chronic urticaria(hives)! I was given those anti histamines (loratadine)n d rest; i finished d drugs, two weeks later i was back to having those hives!
