ReplyDeleteI hope people remember most of these folks do not look anything like these airbrushed, over-filtered pictures even after putting on gallons of makeup. Nigerian MUA are experts in construction management and civil engineering.
ReplyDeleteDepartment stores have make-up staff that teach you how to select the right shades & type of make-up, teach you how to apply it etc. It’s a far cry from what I see on their pages & in blogs. They use a whole year’s makeup in one day. I even heard they use the same brush for multiple people. When you see the rare pictures they post “without make-up”, it’s obvious their pores are clogged as they rarely get to breath and that they don’t understand the reason for primers before putting on make-up. Don’t ooh and aah what is false. Most Naija celebs look nothing like their pictures.
