EX Governor Rochas Okorocha Granted Permission To Travel To The UK For Medical Attention

Governor for 8 years and instead of building health facilities ,he was erecting statues!!!

Former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has to been granted permission to travel to the United Kingdom for medical attention by Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday July 6, 2022.

Justice Inyang Eden Ekwo, who granted the permission, ordered the Registrar of the court to release the traveling passport of the former governor to him to undertake the medical trip.

The order of the judge followed an application argued by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr Ola Olanipekun who notified the court that his client has been having health challenges in recent times.

The senior lawyer argued that Okorocha will not abuse the order and will return to the country for his trial.

Although, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, represented by Mr Chile Okoroma had sought to vehemently oppose the request, the Commission soft-pedalled when Justice Ekwo explained that the request would be granted with a caveat by the court.

While granting the request, Justice Ekwo ordered Okorocha to return the passport to the court registrar not later than three days of his arrival in the country.

The judge held that he would declare Okorocha wanted if he attempts to abuse the favour granted him.

Justice Ekwo subsequently fixed November 7,2022 for his trial in the money laundering criminal charges brought against him by the Federal Government.

  2. Hmmm na WA oh..
What these guys are indirectly saying is that the hospitals in Nigeria are useless, the hospitals they built for the masses, the country they're leaders in..

It's even the shamelessness for me, something they're even supposed to hide while doing, them go just come for public talk say dem dey go medical check up abroad..

And the people that would still vote for these bastards tho.. I have just concluded that most Nigerians suffer from Stockholm syndrome, this is the only reasonable explanation one can give for the love they have for their oppressors.. it's a psychological issue, most Nigerians need therapy.. you want to vote for Jagaban bobo Chicago.. na blocking I dey block them straight before them infect me with their stupidity

They're always ill once they're tried in court. Leaders who will travel abroad see and enjoy all the working facilities in other countries but will squander our resources. Let's vote right in the next elections
