ReplyDeleteViking women had rights in thier homes unlike the British women who were practicing Christianity and seen as submissive and under the men. The British old law would order the woman's head cut off for something as stupid as allegations of adultery. Or fingers chopped off for speaking to another man, and many other ill treatment of the women. I preferred viking culture any day.
