Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative...

Hmmm....

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
EX DRUNKARD NEEDS ADVICE

Stellzzz, Hmnnn I used to be a roaring drunk, as in It was so bad I can wake up brush teeth and swig, drinks was to my purse what makeup is to some women's bags.

I was so dependent that I required rehab and even after the rehab I was taking steady swigs. Then suddenly I stopped.

I stopped so completely that the smell of any alcohol turns my insides, i can walk into a supermarket and once I see the section I'd want to puke, If I see some drinks, I feel queasy, I'd be wondering how did I allow the green liquid into my belly?

If someone pees and flushed with smell of alcohol I'd be so irritated. Its now turning to an issue with my husband cos I can't stand to sleep next to him cos of the stench of beer.i feel like a fanatic or radical Muslim(no offence).

Is this normal? Am I over reacting? Believe me I can't help it.

I dont know if its normal and i cant give advice cos i cant stand the smell of alcohol...You wont find any in my home or around me.... I dont know what to advice you to do oh...

Did you both use to drink together? If Yes, wahala dey!

  3. Ah ahh,Poster tell your hubby to always brush his teeth before bedtime or lick mint, that way you won't have to perceive any nonsense.
Personally,I won't even talk to you,if I perceive anything, talk more of letting you sleep on the same bed as I am.
Thank God for your redemption and nothing is wrong with you.

  4. Wear face mask, maybe it'll help. Try out different things to help you out. Air freshener, mint . Mind control like humming, singing, positive thoughts etc. Google to see what can work for you. Good luck 😃

  5. Poster, the same way you went to rehab, why don't you arrange for him to go too? In the mean time tell him to always bath and brush his teeth before coming to bed and explain to him that the smell of alcohol, makes you throw up.

    1. Did you read that rehab helped her in her story? She stopped on her own. And she didn't say her husband drinking is too much like she used to.

  6. If you are from Delta St, ask your ppl about your disdain for alcohol. I know of one juju dey do on alcohol and give someone. That person will forever hate anything alcohol...of cos there will be side effects, even up to insanity.
I remember one lady that hated her husband love for cigarettes, after that rituals was performed on the man, he never touches any smokes but later developed some kind of madness, which they took time and money to solve.
Am not saying my talk is final sha.

  8. There is nothing wrong with moderate alcohol as far as i am concerned. Because it now irritates you doesn't mean you should become intolerant of those who still take alcoholic drinks.

    1. She’s not intolerant
      Are system is repulsed
      She can’t help it
Poster sleep in a different room when he takes alcohol for now

  10. The best bet poster will be to help him out as well. This has nothing to do with you, you tackle issues from the root and not the leaves. You are just irritated because you don't like the odor. So you need to kill the smell to have peace. So help your husband stop drinking or better still help make him to take something that will always mask the smell for you. Shikena

Don't know what to advice you sis

  15. Your giving up alcohol has saved your liver and kidneys . Alcohol consumption contributes to liver and kidney diseases. I know cos I lost a family member who was a chronic alcoholic to liver disease

  16. Why do I think poster is pregnant?

If you're not pregnant then pls get him to use mints or chew groundnut to put off the smell of his alcohol

  17. Are you sure you are not pregnant at the moment? please take it easy with the man and keep praying for him.

  18. I don't think there's anything much to do. You just simply tell your husband how you feel about it especially if he knows your alcohol history

    ReplyDelete
  19. Infact I personally always ask myself what people see in alcohol. It's not sweet, it doesn't freshen your skin, doesn't give you blood. Please why do you take it????

  20. Try telling your husband how the smell of alcohol makes you feel. I believe he will make some adjustments for you. Gods speed

  21. Perhaps you should consider seeking professional help. It could be that your mind has set this automatic repulsion as a way, to help you not go back to drinking. It has nothing to do with Oga. Let him be. Work out your own issues.

  22. You sound like a very compulsive and addictive person. You don’t have to go to either extremes. Everything in life there’s a balance, moderation and self control. Please also religion has nothing to do with your compulsive behavior. Seek help and learn discipline and self control.

  23. I don't have any advice to give you, rather I'm just happy you've stopped drinking. With the rate you said you were drinking, you probably would have had issues with your organs in the future, so thank God for delivering you.
