Stop using women as if they are just tools to rehabilitate people.
Anyway, I dont blame this regressive society, na women wey no regards themselves or dem future as anything dey give una hand.

    9. The scariness of this man is not what you should care about. It’s the audacity of this pastor to request for women to submit their cvs to marry a man they say is mentally ill. We don’t even know what that man will do to the chosen woman. This pastor is implying that women are desperate to marry. Once again he is looking for a woman who will endure madness for ten years. That’s terrible.

    10. What do they even mean
Doesn’t he need some sort of income
And when it’s successful he can seek a spouse?

    12. 12:22 only a lazy, directionless, hungry oaf will be using that kind of marriage as a palliative as a guarantee of 'feeding ' 'money's and a 'good life' as you call it.
Since on their own, their brains and amout of common sense cannot afford them this.

If he was a woman, would they advertise for a man to marry her? Shameless!

    1. I don't blame them. They see women as furniture to be bought by men and whose sole purpose in life is to baby sit men. Why not hire a help to stay with the man to cook and clean. It's to find wife that will be doing house girl for the man they know.

It's women that came to now suffer abi?

    2. You guys should calm down! A lady posted yesterday that she was ready to marry the man ,which made the pastor come up with these conditions.

    3. Doesn't the Pastor7have enough sense to know that marriage is not what he needs?
You pick someone off the street who is mentally unbalanced and you are putting conditions for marriage.
      Marriage for what exactly.
Marriage that can make even sane person kolo sef, talk less of someone who doesn't have a means of income. Or he wants to depend on the church forever.

    1. You spoke the truth. It's a woman that is "not okay" too that will contact them either for money or clout. People are damn desperate. Too desperate 😪.

The man never saw a reason to marry before now probably because of personal challenges that he hasn't shared but this MOG wants to use superglue to merge him with someone because Africans breathe in and exhale marriage. If this man can't "perform" afterwards and the woman goes to "collect" outside, they will start blaming the devil that's been busy in Kuje prison and Katsina state since 3 days. Let the man "find himself " for at least one year before talking about marriage.

You have spoken the truth, it is like the pastor is looking for someone to be a nanny for this man now they are disguising it as wife. My hubby's niece is going through the same thing. A family came to look for a lady for their son to marry. The lady has two children they paid her bride price which we call lobola here. After a while the lady discovered the man has mental challenges/ illnesses or something. There is no action in the bedroom the man cannot perform. He beats mercilessly the stepchild who is two. Doesn't provide, it is the man's family that sponsors them. On Saturday, they had a family meeting to dissolve the marriage. I think at this point we should not be talking about marriage for the actor but take care of his health first. I don't why i sideeye this pastor, i agree and understand that he is doing good works which is recommendable. But it like he wants so bad to be in the public eye.

  29. What a wicked and demonic approach to the health of a mentally ill man. Why can't the preacher volunteer his sister or daughters to serve a fellow child of God in such a capacity?

What has been termed "spiritual problem" is obviously a Mental illness requiring long term care but in a society where the worship of money is sacrosanct, even the religious body is recruiting living sacrifices whose destinies will be terminated for free feeding and board. If you are beguiled by a mentality of poverty or scarcity, these are the opportunities you seek and find.

When Ekweremadu's case came up, opportunistic philosophers were offering their kidneys saying there isn't much to life but have they since gone to the teaching hospitals near their homes to donate? What have they given Eedris Abdulkareem? If you are looking for what isn't missing, you will find it so that it can go missing again.

Why can't this pastor heal said spiritual problem? What has there been no visit to the hospital for this man? How is a man who is ill to provide for his family? If this wasn't the case of a known actor, will the pastor ordain the union? If it love to live with a man only for the food and money being dropped by outsiders? it not in that same Bible that He who doesn't work should not eat? Who will maintain the children when their father needs all-round care? Who will marry for the children when the illness is passed on genetically or the mental consequences of growing up in such a home begin to manifest?

I don't know why Nigerians can't see the obvious scam so called healers are pulling in the country. In a situation where their skills are in demand, it is still the rice and house approach that is the solution as far as they are concerned. When they want to collect money, they will tell you to stretch towards the TV. When the person and problem shows in living color, they will bring out rice and apartment key.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oga pastor, abeg you no get sisters ,cousins or niece? Go give them to the man. Yeye man!

    ReplyDelete
  31. It will be difficult to get him a wife. For now. What he needs right away is a means of livelihood then affection and wanting a woman will set in. You don't force a woman to a man. He needs to desire her. If not the said wife will be frustrated. This is a man who lived on the streets for a while. His mental health needs to be rechecked and rebalanced.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Women are not therapist!!! Let him seek for psychological help first!

    ReplyDelete
  33. A wife is not a psychiatrist.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The church better be ready for the quantum of applications they will receive from desperate, hungry and idle Nigerian ladies.

    ReplyDelete
  35. If this man go UK, Canada or US for 6 months, the weather go blend his colour and he will come back looking sharp. There won't be enough MOPOL in Nigeria to pry ladies away from his love then

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hmmmmm🤔 while I do not agree with the pastor’s approach, acidic poverty, hopelessness & lack of opportunity can cause mental illness. Many mental illnesses are not genetic, many look “hard” & poor with sunken cheeks, brown teeth, empty stare & dry skin until they make money or God intervenes in their lives. I’m not a proponent of women as palliatives, Nannies or souvenirs but some men become more motivated & focused when they have to be responsible for another person. It’s impossible to believe this man has no wife or kids at his age so the poster that knows of them should please DM the pastor on SM so that nobody’s daughter will enter double trouble as I’m very sure poverty will cause many to take up this bizarre offer. Poverty is terrible, it can make the most handsome man or woman look “ugly”though God created us all good. We need to hold the wicked corrupt rulers responsible for the extreme poverty & lack of opportunity that makes interventions like this seem welcome. Stop defending the Tinubus, Atikus, Ekweremadus etc as they all come here for medical treatment, already have multiple visas plus ready tickets forgetting that situations like that of Abba Kyari or Ekweremadu can occur. They need to stop looting, pay ASUU & fix nigeria!

To desperados, watch before you contact the pastor. Investigate & volunteer to be a helper first to see if you fall in love with him. I’m sure the pastor will be open to volunteers. We should stop glorifying weddings & marriages. Most Nollywood movies revolve around weddings, marriages, homes when we don’t even honor the institution. Marriage is good but it’s not the highlight of everyone’s life. I’m married for decades but I know in heaven there is no husband, wife, marriage or such. The pressure & pepper dem needs to stop!

This is my challenge with most of these clergy who are not well educated with the issue of mental ill-health. How could you talk of marriage with a mentally derail man? Is that his challenge for now? Who is the Counsellor/psychotherapist or a psychiatrist handling his case aside prayers? And, why bringing womanhood into slavery through marriage? Marriage is a good thing and it's based on unconditional love. Nigerians, wake up because mental ill-health is as real as any physical health. Most of the thing you called spiritual are actually mental issues (I know most religious fanatics will never accept that) - your spiritual DNA is perfect! Think Counselling Network
