  1. All Buhari and Aisha used his tenure to do is to enrich themselves AND marry their kids into rich affluent strategic unions. From Indimi, to Marwa, to Ado Bayero, now to Malami......while tbey have thrown Nigerians into suffering, anguish and poverty. Their own kidz will never suffer.

    3. Anon, should Malami as a Muslim drive out his first two wives because Nana is the President's daughter? Or should Nana force a man that did not show interest in her to marry her so she can be his first or only wife? Shey you will agree to leave your husband for her so she can be an ONLY wife?

I will keep saying that this is why false prophets, pastorpreneurs and baby factories will never thrive in the north. As a traditional Hausa or Muslim lady especially resident in the North, you no marry na because say na you no wan marry. No be because say husband "scarce". Lailai! Muslim Hausa babe or woman even at age 50/60 does not need "Shiloh night" to find a husband; husband berekete full everywhere. Na men dey rush women over there like hot akara. A man with 3 wives is still eligible up North and so is a divorcee or widow with 7 children. No bias. No discrimination. Of all the problems in the North, getting married or finding a suitor is definitely not one of them. They have it locked down to a T.

Even Gumsu who divorced after 5 kids no stay up to one year before dem rush marry her. If na South now, 25 year babes don dey get hypertension on top marriage matter. They will send chronicle "Stella, please help my destiny! I'm 29, a kindergarten virgin and I'm not yet married. I will jump into river Benue if I clock 30 without marriage. Is it a spiritual attack? I'm depressed!". A 30 year old divorcee is an abomination and a widow becomes a plague amongst her fellow women in the South. Shege! Wetin concern Aisha and Jumai concern husband chronicle mbok exceptthey are confused aboutwho to choose amongst 8 suitors? People wey their marriage nor last up to 2 years without kids go dey "shade" and pepper themselves for another 10 years online washing dirty ankara for our reading (dis)pleasure while two quietly divorced northerners have since moved on two and four months respectively without drama. Why? Because both the man and woman are certain and confident that the end of the marriage is not the end of life and other people will still find them desirable no matter what.

As a Christian and a woman, one man one wife is the most acceptable to me. As an African, I feel polygamy would have long eradicated the issue of "praying endlessly" for a suitor by some. Take away the almanjiri factor amongst the poorest and polygamy as practiced by the elites in the North is one thing I really admire them for. Would I allow my husband take another wife? Nearly every woman hopes not but if I lived up north and was brought up in their ways and religion, it wouldn't even be an issue. It would be a way of life. Happy married life to the latest couple.

    4. @amebonawork I love your write up and I totally agree with you regardless of d fact that I am a Christian. Hypocrisy in Christianity is too much that is why men/women are dying in abusive marriage because divorce is a sin and even if you do get a divorce for genuine reasons, you are not allowed to remarry, the stigma nko no be here

    5. Which hypocrisy? Christian for mouth but you people cannot live by the Tenney's of Christ...abstain from sex and date well before you marry yet you expect your marriage to last...Christians who have married with God as a guide are enjoying marriage even with little challenges here and there...their religion hides her the guise of fornication and adultery so they are good....the Bible is very clear God hates divorce so before you marry take time and look well....you want God to change Bible because of Una abi? If you pray well and look well you will know a man who is to be avoided. If you let God lead you then other problems in the marriage that may arise will not be one that will cause divorce...if both of you are truly believers and you submit to God he will help you surmount those problems...Christianity is not your problem, it is how some of you Christians for mouth choose to practice it...

  8. The way Muslims dey marry eh. One Keke man said his two wives are in kano, he will marry more two by next year, and traveling tomorrow Sunday, he will park his keke(hire purchase oh). And will pregnant them both before he returns. I just open mouth dey look, they already with seven kids oh. Say because igbos no get food and things are expensive in igbo land, reason our men don't marry plenty wives. I just say I don reach my bustop thank you... He said his own father married 28wives.
