Actors Cynthia Okereke And Clemson Cornel Reportedly Kidnapped

Nollywood actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel, aka Agbogidi, have reportedly been kidnapped.

The development was disclosed on Friday in a statement issued by Monalisa Chinda, the Director of Communications, Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN)..

The statement reads, “The two members were suspected of having been kidnapped, which has increased fear amongst members about the safety of actors filming in the country.

“Because of this sad development, the National President of the Guild, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has instructed all Actors to avoid going to the outskirt of cities to film except full security cover is provided to ensure their safety”.

The AGN president who also expressed shock at the development, called on security agencies to speed up investigation in a bid to rescue the actors unhurt.

  23. These useless unfortunate kidnappers should go and kidnap the corrupt leaders and leave those who are hustling and suffering like them.

  24. I hope not. Can these two raise N100k? I like how Nigeria never takes preemptive actions to forestall anything. They wait until it gets really worst to start crying out. Tomorrow some Fulani will carry cows pass their cities/villages and they pretend like they didn't see them. Those herders are spies.

    1. Don't mind them most of them. I gave up when I see the kind of ethnic prejudice people display here, which reflects a people living in denial of what constitute nationhood. I have never seen people so pretentious like most Nigerians. The social media made it so easy to understand how Nigerians see one another, yet they claim brotherhood and oneness.

How many people from different ethnic groups foresaw what is happening now and kept shouting? How many? Yet, our people will leave the most important thing out of the message and attack the messengers. Early warning should not be sacrificed on a platter of hate, prejudice and emotion. It never ends well. People need to be open-minded about things and when in doubt, do research to understand before responding out of ignorance.

Believe in God, but always be informed and guided. Live without security is a lost life! I wish I could say much but would it make sense now. I doubt!
