God created our physical bodies with internal systems that support each other. And it's the same in our relationships. Everybody needs a support system. Satan will isolate you to destroy you. 'A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken' (Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT).
Studies show that people who have caring support live longer, recover from illness faster and find life more meaningful. Support gives you a sense of connection and acceptance, which are core human needs. It provides an arena in which you can be vulnerable; a place where you can feel safe in saying, 'I don't know,' or 'Can you help me,' or 'I need a hug.' This is support - God's way. And if you can't find it in your own family, turn to the family of God. And one more thought: don't forget to express your appreciation to those who support you. Tokens of gratitude go a long way in saying, 'I'm grateful for your help.'
Support is not a one-way street: 'Share each other's burdens' (Galatians 6:2 NLT). Don't get so engrossed in your own problems that you forget others have problems too. Take the time to inquire about their concerns. No one likes a taker. It's in the give-and-take of mutual support that you grow and fulfil your God-given potential in life.

ReplyDelete1. One has milked Nigeria well enough systematically, and just wants to answer President by all means.* *He lives in Dubai full-time and only comes around every 4 years to contest for the Presidency.
He doesn't understand the struggle of the average Nigerian. He doesn't care so much. If he loses this one, he will go back to Dubai and wait out the next 4 years before coming out again.
Besides the fact that his ambition is scary, we can't afford to have a Paul Biya of Cameroun as President.
2. Another has been controlling Lagos treasury since 2003. He just wants to fulfill his lifetime political ambition of answering President, even if he dies the next day after swearing-in.
He would properly share Nigeria like cake to his boys....just like he did in Lagos. At the end of the day, he would teach us what being "fantastically corrupt" actually means.
3. The other was already a billionaire before 2003, and quite content with himself. He doesn't need your money for anything. He wants to be President to reset things and lay the foundation for systemic governance in future.
He relates with the struggles of the average Nigerian, understands what Nigeria needs, and has volunteered himself to save us from impending catastrophe. Win or lose, he would most likely not contest again.
It is up to us to choose wisely.
Even Jesus cannot compete with number 3, the saint and messiah. I laugh. It will shock you people😂😂
