The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has reacted to the story and dismissed reports that the woman was being ''held'' under the influence of juju by her suspected Yahoo boyfriend in the Badagry area of Lagos state....
He narrated...
SM has done more harm than good when it comes to news verification.
ReplyDeleteGlad the couple are ok.
I'm still indifferent about the realness of juju.
But she has a black eye....hope she isnt suffering DV or even kept in Nigeria against her will. See her living conditions. She shld still have been taken to the German Embassy away from d husband and made to speak to a therapist ; smthn is amiss.
ReplyDeleteYou have sense.
DeleteStella post it on German websites, they can come rescue her without her approval.
Juju is real in Lagos.
There was one like that in my neighborhood, always beating the woman. He country people finally were alerted and came for her.
Deletethe thing is she is not a minor she is an adult so there is not much German embassy or even police can do if she doesnot press charges herself . even abroad they can't jack a woman who doesn't want to leave her abuser till she consents . I hope the baale and others in the community intervene and try and get her help she may need hospital care ..sad
DeleteThis one na mental patient or drug induced, nothing like juju abeg

I noticed her black eye from the video. Something is definitely not right here. I hope she gets help.
DeleteShe looks like someone that is constantly beaten,It might be a case of bin jazzed and not wanting to leave the husband not that she really likes it here. She doesn’t look well taken care of at all.Only God knows why one will want to subject herself to this kind of living when she can live better in her country.
ReplyDeleteShe look sick.
ReplyDeleteNa wa
ReplyDeletePoor woman. The German embassy should be alerted. Oyibo too like black gbola sha.stella pls help her
ReplyDeleteWife battery isn't seen as a crime by the Nigerian police or why will you take a woman with at least one black eye back to her husband to "make up"? I hope the German embassy is alerted. No detention or filed case. No undertaking from the man? No punishment whatsoever? Not every returnee is a moneybag. She may not be able to return home unless her government steps in and he is also trying to hush the news so that he doesn't have a case waiting for him or his stay/ citizenship revoked. Is she in possession of her passport?
ReplyDeleteThis woman needs help, she look so weak and sick to me......... Josaria
