ReplyDeleteI have an issue at hand that gave me sleepless night which I want to share with the house and get words of wisdom to handle the issue at hand.
Yesterday when I came back from work my agent came around and handed over a letter to me, he said if I have any question I should feel free to put a call across. I collected the letter and told him bye.
Opened the letter and saw it was for rent increment lol 😂 this house is a new house and we are the first occupant of this house. I was told by the agent that there is 24/7 borehole running on daily basis the reason I paid 300k but do you guys believe that since I entered that house is water issues we have been having. Borehole keep on getting bad and we keep on fixing it.
Not until I have to speak to the landlord myself and explained things before he changed the pumping machine, this agent never cared always forming busy and unavailable. We are not enjoying water, light or even good road yet he went ahead to increase rent who does that🤔
I chatted other flats in my block and they all haven’t gotten their letter since it was yesterday he started serving the letter that means from today they will get theirs.
A friend told me that rent are increase in a house when the house is up to five years but from three years some tend to increase. That a new building there is nothing like to increase rent, she told me we should collectively write back to him telling him we cannot pay the 350k cos water is not available, economy is not smiling and we did a lot of repairs when we moved in. My rent will expire between July ending to august.
She pointed out that is very wrong to serve a paper when your rent will expire in a months time telling you that rent has been increased.
House please say something on what we can do cos all the tenants are ready to corporate. Even if they are not ready, myself is ready and want to treat it as e Dey hot to avoid why didn’t you say anything since I served you the paper.

ReplyDeleteYou know those videos that a person abruptly comes towards people in either supermarket or on the street to ask for money,while some ignore,some offer to help but ends up being helped by the disguised begger.
Well it happened to me recently,He just came out from nowhere,looking all tattered, homeless and scary asking me money for bread in the most unusual way.I didn't know what to do,I got scared and I scampered for my life.
What I'm trying to say is we shouldn't judge people that don't give alms immediately when approached,Some of us need time to process the whole thing.

Met one, he was dressed modestly, said he didn't have money for TP from a place called rumuola to location. I gave 200, he rejected, said it's not going to be enough. I snapped my purse shut and moved away faaaaast. Before knife chook me. He prolly peeked inside my purse.
