Yesterday , around 11am I suddenly found out that I was offline. I removed my sim and reinserted. But knowing the telco I'm using, I know it wasn't a phone fault.
ReplyDeleteAfter an hour of being offline, I called customer care, customer care said they are experiencing downtime o, that they know there is an issue. And they don't know even the issue will be resolved.🤣🤣🤣🤣. E just be like that song ' ...🎵🎶 if you ask me, na who I go ask?' 🎵🎶 🤣🤣 Na every month dem dey kuku get downtime, so I said let me wait.
I couldn't send or receive emails.
I couldn't transfer money.
I couldn't check news sites.
All social media platforms whatsapp, Instagram etc I couldn't access...
I didnt know what was going on.
OVER 7 HOURS LATER that was when I was able to open a page and I was checking my phone every 20 minutes because unfortunately this is ONLY sim I have.
Big mistake.
7:15 was when they went back online.
La i shey NEPA. Telco behaving like PHCN.
Through out they never bothered to inform customers, even after they resumed work, no apology, nothing.
To them customers are foo.ls na and don't deserve basic courtesy.
Imagine if it was a life and death issue, imagine people stranded in strange places needing to transfer. Imagine someone needing to make last minute payment before a portal closes till next year.
People say govt is the problem, me I believe the people are the greater problem This wretched- anyhow- barbaric- animal- in- the-jungle-way-of-doing business and living is what has destroyed this country completely.
Over 7 HOURS.
