The Yobe North Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bashir Machina, has stated that the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, who currently occupies the seat, did not make/have any plans put in place to return to the Senate.

Umahi, Amosun, Okorocha and Akpabio did the same thing. I think Bala Mohammed and Tambuwal were able to patch up their own and Saraki may fix his since his state is an APC state but due to the new rules, many old horses are in this predicament.
