. Ahead of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential primary elections, President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday May 31, 2022 begged governors elected under the platform of the ruling party to allow him pick his successor.

DeleteNews going around says Buhari is asking the governors to pick former Zamfara state governor, Yerima or Senate president Lawan. He believes only the two candidate can defeat Atiku. If Yerima wins, it's likely that he will implement sharia just like he did during his tenure in zamfara state.
