  2. Freedom to vote as delegates but vote with your conscience in check.

  3. Just as Tinubu and Atiku bought their way to become flag bearers, the highest bidder can buy Nigeria and become the next president.
The delegates aren't concerned about who is competent or not, who has good intentions or not, who is honest or not, who is fit and sound or not. Their concern is who gave the fattest envelope.
The voters, majority, are also waiting for who will give the fattest envelope. We never suffer enough in this country.
Peter Obi is a credible candidate, but his tribe/region will make some Nigerians think twice, he is also not sharing the most dollars like his co-contenders
Nigerians need to be provoked so so much to the extent that they'll be living in refugee camps before they begin to think of voting credibility.

    2. Nigeria is a chaotic mess. Merit has no recognition in this country. I don't know why Obi is sacrificing his himself for this mess. Nigeria youths in their productive year think they'll be young forever.. Buhari did 8 years.. If Tinibu does 8 years.. This is 16 years of your life that you threw away being unproductive. Then, the north comes back and add 8 years. 24 years of your life on earth. God forbid. God can't allow this to happen. 2023 will SHOCK everyone in a positive way. If you are under 40, please get your pvc and vote... PLEASE... PLEASE...

  7. I really do not understand why there is a problem here.

They are allowed to support (just like we do here) whoever they want to.

We don't pay their bills. We really shouldn't dictate to them. I am a due hard SDK fan, it's my choice over other blogs.

  12. I think what Peter Obi needs to do is to campaign for him to get very popular. So many people think Nigerian political parties are only Apc and Pdp. Labor party is not as popular as it should be. Labor party can become more popular if the people in the party make it popular.

Ebonyi State had 39 delegates in the APC presidential primary election that just ended. Out of that figure, Engr David Umahi got 38 votes; Dr Ogbonnaya Onu got 1 vote making it 39. Imo had over 100 delegates. Rochas Okorocha got zero. Emeka Nwajiuba got only 1 vote. Where did Imo votes go? They simply voted for Tinubu of the Yoruba extraction. Anambra State had about 100 delegates, Ikeobasi Mokelu from Anambra got zero vote. Where did Anambra votes go? Simply they went to Tinubu and Amaechi. They didn't vote for a South Eastern aspirant. Abia had about 100 delegates. They didn't vote for a South Eastern aspirant. They voted for Sen. Dr Ahmed Lawan of the North East. Enugu had about 50 delegates. They didn't vote for a South Eastern aspirant. They possibly shared their votes to Tinubu and Amaechi.

Tomorrow, South East will be chanting the song of marginalisation when it's clear that apart from Ebonyi State, other South East States are a sellout in the struggle to have South Eastern persons grabbing presidential tickets of major political parties in Nigeria. This they replicated in the presidential primary of the PDP. Only Ebonyi State delegates delivered a South Easterner --- Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim 100 percent. Anambra, Enugu, Abia and Imo States sold theirs. It's important that people of the South East who aren't into politics note this. When we talk about the state that has interest of the Igbo at heart politically, only Ebonyi State comes to mind.
With this kind of mentality by the other four South East States, the Igbo man doesn't stand a chance into the Aso Rock apart from a situation of the Yar'dua and Goodluck Jonathan repeats. In the Enugu-Onitsha expressway construction project linking the West African states, Ebonyi State constructed its own portion. Enugu and Anambra States did away with theirs. Today, these sections are almost in a state of impassability. I hope Igbo people are taking record of this so that by tomorrow, whoever is complaining should know the quarters to take their complaints to.

Igbos are the ones marginalising themselves and when the judgement comes to fore, Ebonyi State should be excluded from the statistics of the South East States that are mercantile in politics and anti Igbo political movement and philosophy. Congratulations to Ndi Ebonyi for the exemplary outings they have undertaken so far.
South East we're the problems facing ourselves.

  14. Excellent point but the troublers of Nigeria belong to the same tribe. Tribe of “troublers of Nigeria”. The actual nation groups are just convenient fall back groups. When looting Emilokan and cronies etc do not remember the poor Yoruba man pushing cart or selling boli by the roadside in Mushin. Tribalism is a tool used by the wicked to perpetuate oppression. Ajimobi’s daughter married Ganduje’s son. It’s like that all over. They exaggerate the ethnic differences and exploit it to remain in power. Each person has a convoy of about 50 people around them! Even President Biden’s convoy has less people (more trained though) than an average governor in Nigeria. Don’t vote the 2 Alibaba seniors!

  15. Just my 2 cents. Peter OBI is the better candidate. He isn’t squeaky clean as his name appeared in the Pandora Papers of international money launderers but he is more cerebral and youbger than the seniors who really need to be around their grandkids. However please do not make Peter Obi an Ndigbo candidate. Let him become national by campaigning without Igbos owning him so as not to alienate others in the SW & middlebelt who are not excited about the other two. I’m from the diaspora and I see mainly Igbos pushing his candidacy which isn’t the right thing. He himself is trying his best not to be a regional candidate so let those of us that prefer him help by being polite in persuading people. Many want change and I believe the odds and God prefers him. I am of Yoruba descent but every Yoruba friend we have is voting for Peter OBI because they are sick & tired of the politics of “chop I chop emilokan” practiced by the other two. Let Zack or Uche or anyone collect money from APC/PDP but vote PO, Banky and good candidates regardless of party. Vote people not party. Voting is secret, I hope. Collect the money, it’s YOUR commonwealth but vote against them to shock them. Let’s not drag or Cyberbully people. It’s fascism. Not democracy.
