    1. A party in the Court and Peter Obi Ran to join the party? Who does That? A party with NO structures anywhere, you joined? Who is the serious honest man or woman that would do that for a presidential election? I always knew he was just being his normal shyster and not serious because the Peter Obi I know will never spend a Farthing not to talk of the huge Sums needed to Run a successful presidential campaign anywhere in the world. He is Busy whipping up sentiments amongst some stupid youths back home in Nigeria on social media to create chaos and the next thing would be Raise funds for me to Run like the other parties or fight them with protests and riots so that I can emerge. I hope Nigerians back home are now smarter and they know that no one is worth you all being on the streets to protest and get killed. No One..

    2. Very typical of my kinsmen. Definitely sponsored by PDP or APC. Tufiakwa!

    3. It was not sponsored by any APC or PDP. Stop this unnecessary noisemaking on social media. The party has had a court case on the rightful leadership of the party before Obi joined them. There was already a battle between factions on who presents candidates to INEC.

    4. Labour party has been in crisis before Obi was brought in by a faction of the party. He must consult widely with everyone and not force his way in. He hasn't been part of the party at any time.

    5. Well then with all this hullabaloo, PO's chances of becoming president is likely to go belly up. People don't understand the importance of strategic planning and execution even for years to occupy the office of president.

  2. These are the real issues....the igbos are only united when doing parties. They low key don't love themselves.

How hard is it for them to give in to a known candidate in the person of Peter Obi people are canvassing for!

    2. Dollars hs changed hands, if not that, what will make a those so called presidential candidates not step down for Peter Obi. Who knew them before? And do they seriously think , if they run, Nigerians clamoring for Peter obi will vote for them. very rubbish behavior.

  4. This is the most stupid thing they can do. If not for Peter Obi who will think of them? It’s like they don’t want to be the ruling party.

    1. Ruling party where? Where is their structure? Their last most relevant position was when Mimiko was a governor. He left the party because of the same leadership issues. Obi didn’t make Labour Party. Rather he is the one that needs the party after running from APGA to PDP and now this.

  5. This man, PO, doesnt he have a political adviser? Now what will he do? Jump to another party? From APGA to PDP to LP, then YPP? The wisest thing he would've done was to accept the VP slot in PDP, and use that 8yrs, if they had won, to strategize on how to go from there. Build structure! Just see the rubbish going on now!

As far as I'm concerned, we don't have a good candidate this 2023. Not Atiku, not BAT and definitely not PO!

    2. He might not have a say as the VP. How are we sure he will end up becoming the president after 8years of being the VP. Look at Osibanjo.

    3. My dear PETER OBI is the best candidate among them. I can never vote APC, they will continue this legacy of suffering, insecurity and medical traveling. Tinubu is likely sick, he'll be another medical tourist president. Aso Rock should not be a health insurance plan. Atiku on the other hand is healthy but very corrupt so I can't vote him either. Go read what Obasanjo wrote about him and his legacy in his book, Under My Watch. In the midst of so much suffering, both of these candidates bought delegates with dollars under our very eyes. They have no honor and will sell Nigeria to the highest bidder.

Peter Obi is the most upright among them and seems to genuinely want the interest of the nation. He is not a messiah either cos if we are honest, no one man can change Nigeria. Nigeria is far too gone, it will take everyone plus a miracle to rebuild her. But las las we are all Nigerians and we shall collectively suffer if we make another wrong choice.

    1. You guys are still in this illusion that Obi will get any close? Wow! Obi is a tenderfoot politician living on people’s shoulder to rise. Ojukwu’s support he enjoyed at APGA where he became Governor. He wanted same easy sail by joining PDP to get ministerial appointment if GEJ had won. Then Atiku brought him out as VP candidate. LP already has a court case on leadership issue before he joined the party. Igbos don’t vote Igbos and you know that.

    2. Come anon, rest!! Or have you been bitten by a mad dog?? Since you are sure PO will not even come any close why then are you bothered gasping like a thirsty dog all over this post?

    5. That's how Woke you Youths back home in Nigeria were as you were all shouting in 2015 and voted in Buhari and he sent you all back to an un wakeable sleep. You all should listen to the candidates first and take your decisions and not screaming Woke as usual.

  8. I see the handiwork of criminal political conspiracy to scuttle Obi's ambition seeing how the masses are routing for him. I won't be surprised if PDP are the ones doing this inorder to frustrate Obi and cause confusion in Labour party. An Igbo man will always be used against his brother. So sad and unfortunate.

    1. Nonsense. Blaming other parties for your Obi’s impending failure. Was there no court case on leadership problem of the party before Obi jumped to join them? Was it PDP that caused the factional issues? I’m waiting for you to put the blame next on Tinubu and APC. This one na Igbo people wahala. Disunity. Blame others always for your problems.

    2. Oga you are doing your Tinubu an underservice by crying under every OBI comment oh. A whole powerful Tinubu, Machiavellian Lord 2.0, maker of Presidents and Governors, that paid 35,000$ per delegate, that can even buy the whole Nigeria - and your greatest concern, worry and sleeplessness is Peter OBI. Leave us and our no structure naa, why you threatened? 🤣

    3. Some politicians bought him, but no shaking on Peter Obi, all na strategy.

  9. Obviously a ploy from the "ruling" parties to cause disunity in the party and distracts OBIdients. Disregard this.

  16. Calm down guys.... Which party doesn't have an issue, even in court? Peter Obi coming to Labour party raised the issue of faction which has actually been on the low. The other faction only want recognition and integration and because this is not forth coming, they decided to throw in the spanner and cause chaos. On Thursday, INEC recognized the Peter Obi faction as the authentic faction but this does not mean that the issue still doesn't exist, it still does until both parties sit together and iron out their differences.

For the Annon up there who is going about the comment section picking on Peter Obi and the youth should calm down. The only reason you will be this agitated is because you see him as a threat to your preferred candidate. Before Obi joined the party he made consultations, and knew about the issues bedeviling the party. He is already working in the background to reconcile both parties. Also, Obi doesn't have to spend his money campaigning for president. People are ready to support his campaign willingly without him asking. Myself inclusive. Its true that Labour party has no structure or people, but this has changed recently. People have started to come into the party to create a structure, even the Nigerian Labour congress that includes the TUC and ASUU. If you know Peter Obi, you will know he doesnt like violence and chaos and will not in anyway call for protest. You can also write him off and accused the youths of being sentimental but wait till when we are ready to move on ground.

For me, its not about Peter Obi winning or not, its about doing the right thing. If my voting him will make my vote waste, let it waste over and over again. At the moment, even the APC and PDP knows that he is a threat but they wont speak about it public because they dont want to feel threatend in public.

Over the last 24 years, the PDP and APC has made our lives unbearable and hard. So much insecurity, looting and corruption, vote buying, joblessness, terrorism, nepotism, name it...and you still want us to continue in this manner just because you think an outsider cant win or he is from a region that you all love to hate? Come on guys, if you know someone who can bring the needed change, please support him/her than try to bring other people down.

  18. The masses are so quick to fight each other forgetting that we are all Nigerians. Be laughing at Peter OBI and his supporters. If a bad leader is elected tomorrow, will any of us escape the suffering? The current suffering going on, are we not all feeling it? Nigerian citizens - Human beings, both adults and children are butchered like animals again and again and NOTHING happens, no arrest no trial. Dollar is at 600, from 200. But our politicians can afford to pay each delegate 20k, 35k in dollars and we are clapping for them. Even you in diaspora, don't you feel the increased burden, family asking for money more than ever before? People online begging for 5k, 3k for feeding? The average Nigerian will live and die without ever enjoying 24hr electricity? Electricity that is not a modern invention? Them curse us?? We are all casualties, everyone of us!!!

  21. Please vote OBI with your full chest, don't listen to anyone who says its a waste of vote. All those that voted this government in 2015 and 2019, wasted their votes cos the government has failed to deliver on their promises and unleashed the worst suffering Nigerians have ever undergone. Voting a bad candidate is still a waste of vote.
