  1. Half of them no get PVC. That's all Nigerians are known for. Follow follow syndrome

  2. Whatever, instead of him to use that energy and convince them to get their PVC to vote. We need to be practical in this country. We are one of the most religious countries in the world but our moral, social and economic decay smells to the high heavens.

    1. He has actually advocated for people to get their pvc on his page. There are different challenges going on everyday in Nigeria and alot of people participate and enjoy it. The moment someone chooses to do one about Jesus you all remember the problems of Nigeria. Shame!

    2. Go to his page and find out before assuming what you don't no. Pastor Nath is one of the few gospel ministers who always encourage people to get their PVCs.

    3. And you know he hasn’t done that?

    4. Jesus will not come down from heaven to save us, he has given us wisdom to tackle our problems yet we ignore it and shouting his name up and down.

  9. Nice one to those that partook and whose lives also mirror the character of Jesus.
However, if you're farrrrrr from being Christ like and partook, you are the reason why peeps don't take REAL Christians seriously. Change your ways

    1. No, but s/he must say the truth, since a lot of ppl who shout Jesus refrain from that duty.

    2. My principal sef know the matter🤣. The battle is saving Nigeria, not installing and enabling an incompetent person. My principal have got the funds to live happily without the economy bothering him, I may also "maybe" not be bothered, but then what happens to the average Nigerian who does not understand that these guys do not mean well for you? You keep groaning for another 4 years just because you fail to do the right thing by voting them out. Go get your PVC! Osinbajo or Mark Morgan is not the problem. Whatever you permit, becomes your reality. Get your PVC!

      Mark Mark 😏

God is truly the way and can change the affairs of Nigeria in the twinkle of an eye but He’s no magician. Everyone has a part to play and when we continue to act docile and nonchalant, there’s going to be absolutely no change, if they like they can put up Jesus posters in their entire house. Nothing would change and Na dem sabi.

He’s given us yam, He’s given us knife. Do we expect Him to cut the yam and cook it for us?

    1. That is why they fail to make impact. It is not by shouting Jesus upandan. It is about being His Hands and Feet, obeying His Voice. Even Jesus said that many who called him Lord Lord He will not acknowledge and they will end up with the goats gnashing their teeth in the flames.

  13. omo was so excited yesterday about the trend. within one hour #Jesusisgoingon was number one on twitter.

i just hope he will use his influence to remind the lazy Nigerian youths to get their pvc

  14. Imagine a country where citizens do not protest against govt wrongdoings but simply change their social media to the name of their God.
Imagine a country where officials do not do their work and are not called to order because all they have to do is update their social media with their religious affiliation.

The people changing statuses are relocating to atheist countries which are working perfectly.
The person telling you to change profile pictures has probably relocated or is in the process of relocating his family out of Naija.

Yet you sit at home, with your revival services, waiting for God to descend from heaven and fix the problems in your country. Lazy faith. How are you yourself contributing to a better community?

Do you maltreat your helps, your subordinates? Do you abuse your spouse? When in positions of power, do you help those below you? Have you gotten your PVCs?

Yet everything promises to be OK because you have changed your profile pictures.

    What a joke.

    3. Biggest joke, they will come now and call you devil's agent for saying the fact.
The same Jesus sat and watch things go to the dogs in this country for the past 8years.
Why, because he already gave us a way out, but ignorance, bigotry, rancour and tribalism has blinded us so much.

    4. 11.12 Your anger is very valid and i see where you are coming from and agree but it is very unfair for you to say Nigerians don't protest bad governance. Where were you in October, 2020? What exactly are you saying? We should become Atheist? Will that solve our problem? I am definitely not one to change my profile nor even get such message to do so but I acknowledge the situation is dire and whatever anyone can do with their PVC, prayers, fasting, campaigning, speaking out, demonstration, all are welcome.

      Delete
    5. This is a joke right? The same citizens Graf protested and got killed? Or the ones that have been crying for good governance?

Where was this outrage when Buga challenge and it’s likes were trending. The moment anything Christianity trends, y’all ‘woke’ people will start with ur complaints

What harm can typing Jesus on ur status cause anyone?

      Delete
    6. Exactly. They don't wanna hear the truth. But only the truth will set them free. I refer them back to their Bibles.

      Delete
    7. Even the people who live against the teachings of Christ will update their profiles because you know now. Nigerians like follow follow. The ones who woke up and insulted their gatenan will follow.

. After today, after this week, after this wave has passed, what next? Are you expecting a host of angels to descend and fight for Nigeria with spiritual swords? Or for the cloud to pour out blood and drown the enemies? What exactly are you waiting for?

Look at them up there deluded. Religion is indeed an opium that blinds you from seeing the truth. Don't worry, Nigeria will keep deteriorating and the people changing status will keep applying for visas while the ones who can't afford it will think of another challenge to soothe themselves.

      Daalu unu.

  22. I’m a born again spirit filled Christian. I love Nath Bassey & the Hallelujah challenge which God has used him for. I’m all for Jesus on every street corner. If we follow in his steps the band of thieves & anarchists killing in church will stop. Jesus chased out traders with whip from the temple, he didn’t just speak. He of course mostly spoke the word. The old Testament shows Jehovah as Jehovah Nissi (banner in battle), Jireh, Shammah, etc The black church in the US held a MILLION MAN March IN THE 60s the reasons why you all get visas to the US & the west easily today, why me and my family are Americans of Nigerian descent. #endsars is a commendable start but the crowd was less than 50,000. Compared to the the million man protests by MLK & subsequent protests led by the black church till today (Rev Jesse Jackson, Al sharpton etc) the Nigerian church is big on symbolisms but lacks the depth needed for social change. God told Saul to kill the Amalekites and he spared Agag. Amalek represented evil in the Bible. God punished him. God destroyed the entire earth with a flood during the time of Noah. He uses words sometimes. To dislodge the thieves looting Nigeria you need a million man protest in 36 states plus Abuja which is not a lot in a country with over 200m people.

Sometimes you need to protest hard to get peace. I’m born again but tired of empty symbolisms among Nigerian religious church folks. I take part in protests here. Our collective activism got Trump out make no mistake because he started several racist policies among his many ungodly actions, calling some out as being from sh***ole countries.

Modern day Pentecostalism IS from the US, bastion of civil protests against bad government policies but our own is to use mouth. Christianity is a lifestyle not a religion. Is the VP not a Christian? Did he not see sick people lying on steel beds without mattresses & medical supplies in the decrepit 60 year old Owo hospital when his aviation fuel could renovate the hospital? The Bible says “judgement must start in God’s house” among Christian’s so spare me your “do not judge” stuff🤐 How can you steal your county money and say you are a Christian? How can you watch those kids slaughtered & attend dinner shortly after especially if you are in a position to help fix things? This isn’t directed at one person but it’s a call to stop the religion of symbolisms or faith without works. “Show me your faith without works and I with my works will show you my faith”, and yes. I protested as a pregnant woman against the annulment of June 12 1993 election on dangerous Ikorodu road before I left decades ago so spare me the “ you are there you want us to risk our lives” nonsense. If you have nothing worth risking your life for then you really haven’t figured out what you are living for. The country is descending into anarchy, the world sees it but Nigerian Christians, the light are so scared of shining or do not see it or better still are afraid of darkness. The stuff condoned in Nigeria is so mind numbing. As an employer, I can’t imagine owing 2 weeks salary to an American! Payroll is mostly biweekly. Nigerians tolerate being owed salaries of months while the state governor buys N100m form with no bold protesters like the viral video of the heroic policeman who jumped the captured terrorist in Owo, the hero of the entire tragedy. We don’t know his name yet but we need him to be the “MLK of the free Nigeria movement”. Let all Nigerian Christians decide that they have had enough, the country will change. “Righteousness exalts a nation but sin, corruption which is deep in Nigeria is a reproach”. Practice Christ-like behaviors including how Jesus whipped thieves out of the temple. Gentle loving savior did that!
He doesn’t care to be your profile picture like scenic mountains, snow, or your family portrait. He wants to really live through you!
