Fuel Scarcity Reportedly In Lagos...

Can those living in Lagos confirm this News?

Fuel queues has reportedly surfaced in parts of Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital, leaving passengers stranded across the State.
Some filling stations have run out of stock, while the few selling have long queues.

The few selling, how much are they selling?

  1. All the fuel station in my area is closed, most have but don’t want to sell..

The only one open now is NNPC opposite my office but the Queue is something else.

If you want sharp-sharp;there are some guys hanging around who have already filled Jerry-can from last night but selling per litre now for 190 or 200 naira;NNPC sold and still selling for 163.5,only problem is patience.

  2. Nawaoooooo

We got our breakfast here at Ibadan 2days ago, even till now a litre of fuel is sold for 180 and the wife thing is that, the litre is not even the normal litre again.

You buy 1k fuel and it won't fill up a 5litre keg..

You can park motto at home, enter public can or danfo to destination, for gas, what do you cook with inside your apartment? Don't say kerosene,it's more expensive than gas.

Is it that the poor masses should not feed again?

Nigeria is tiring and draining at this time.

    1. YoriYori, I believe this is a typo but this is how rumours start.

Tinubu isn't the cause of everything. Let's drop issues on the tables of those that are responsible for it.

CBN's policies in the last couple of years can Only be described as murderous. Their policies murdered our FX, strangulated businesses, axed ideas....need I go on. This is the most incompetent CBN Governor we have ever had.

Dr Jonathan put him in, PMB kept him on. Shame on both men.

I have argued this on several occasions. I'm glad the world bank released their report on this just yesterday.

  13. Interesting how all of a sudden, it's an issue. Other places outside Lagos have struggled, and paid Higher per litre for a long time.

One of our main problems in Nigeria, in Africa is that we are obsessively self centred!

Yes, Lagos is the commercial centre, but there has been scarcity of fuel in Abuja for months. In neighbouring towns ,and most parts of the North, zilch!

The same thing with insecurity, killings etc. But it gets to Lagos, and that's when it matters. After all, the people living in the North are not human.
