Abdulsalami was reportedly flown out of Nigeria for medical treatment to the UK after he allegedly suffered partial stroke.
Shehu tweeted that Abubakar is out of hospital and there was no cause for alarm.
“Alhamdu Lillahi for Allah’s mercy.
I just ended a visit to His Excellency Abdulsalami Abubakar, former Head of State.
He is out of hospital in a London apartment and apparently in no serious condition. He was his jovial self, maintaining a keen interest in developments back at home in Nigeria. Please, no cause for alarm.”

As I wish you speedy recovery, do well to repatriate our $6b before its too late. You men will not learn.
ReplyDeleteAnd those that cannot afford to fly to London for treatment , are left to their own fate. The shamelessness of the Nigerian government is appalling. It is well with the masses.

ReplyDeleteGood to hear but it will have been better if our general hospitals are well equipped and managed.
ReplyDeleteAnd Shehu Gabar is now a nurse? Did he fly to Kaduna, Borno, Owo etc, or his time/trips (paid for by our treasury) is only for overseas trips!!?
ReplyDeleteWhile he's at it, someone should Please ask Nurse Shehu to tweet the status report for the Queen who also just left General Hospital Lagos Island, and is recuperating in an apartment, back to her jovial self, and is looking forward to attending the summer Balmoral events.
"No cause for alarm, huh?"
ReplyDeleteWho told you there is alarm anywhere in Nigeria?
Nigerians do not give a hoot as to whatever happened to these people you regard as "leaders."
He went to a London hospital for treatment; without any shame?
