 Sit down and let's talk...

  1. It is very possible. It might be alternative to break up of the country. Some unscrupulous politicians that campaign on promises of regional government end up reneging on their promises once they get to the centre. Making the center less attractive while each region develops at it's pace will be shortest way to development and healthy competition as it was in the 60s.

  2. It is very possible and can spur development and competition but our greedy, lazy and corrupt leaders wont allow it because they want to continue to milk the resources of one region to better themselves and other regions.

  3. I prefer regional government.

Each manage your resources,if you need anything outside your region you order and pay for it.

Life will be easier than it is now

  5. May be we should give it a trial and this might make everyone stay back in their various regions to develop it instead of migrating from one region to another and claiming you help others develop and we still trade with each other when necessary, little will be contributed to the center and it will be less attractive to seek power there but we will all need a change of heart towards building our region, stealing must stop from leaders to the those being led.

  6. The US have a regional system where the state control their resources and revenue and then fund the govt for institutions that serve the people eg armed forces, FEMA. Nigeria would benefit from this but the North will burn the country down first. They are not resourceful so the few in power depend on the funds they steal on the federal level. This is really what IPOB should have been advocating for.

  12. 250 tribes need some level of autonomy and self actualisation that regional government may afford to give. Historically, the best development came about during the regional system of government.
