Why didn't Carolyn sell herself well during the show? I mean her job and stuff.
Let me explain.
Iyabo: she used the show to promote herself and her daughter.
Talked about her production company
Talked about her boutique that Priscilla handles. I didn't know she had a physical store before that. She infused her daughter into the show and promoted her.
Chioma: this one promoted herself well. Always talking about her Goodhair hair business. Most of her personal shoots are in her office, not her home.
Talked about her restaurant Brass and Coppers. Didn't know she owned that restaurant before that. It was even used in the very first episode for the launch of Tiana's products.
Talked endlessly about her foundation Goodway Foundation and had over 10 minutes of screen time dedicated to the work they did.
Laura: promoted her influencership business every chance she got.
Promoted her new fashion line
Did a whole episode on the launching, the meeting with her partner and the runway show.
Tiana: promoted her husband LensLord's photography business.
Promoted her fashion business every single episode with snippets of her working
Promoted the hair products business she started for her daughter
Mariam: she's been in the show for barely 3 episodes yet she's promoted her upcoming, yet-to-be-released fashion business. Even showed a few samples.

Apart from vaguely saying she's into construction and a less than a minute peep into one house like that, we never got to hear about her businesses.
And I'm sure she has some.
She could have done some shoots at her office, some launching, anything.
All the ladies there took advantage of the show to plug their businesses except Carolyn. And she said she wasn't getting paid for the show unlike the other ladies so one would think she would use the opportunity to plug her business shamelessly yet episode 8 don come and go and nothing. She might be doing well but still it doesn't hurt to get some publicity for your business.
I'm learning a lot from this.
Forget it. That gbas gbos is growing her social media followers like crazy. She can decide to advertise her business there. Besides, season never end, she may have advertised her business afterall.

We say beauty without brains, and that's why her marriage flopped. But, we have plenty with brains and this marriage we are holding up like a badge has eluded them.
We see those with a whole lot of money, yet no partners.
We see those all about their husbands, but truth is, some of us will not marry those men.
We say she's classless, maybe she is. But what I see is someone that has cleaned up really nicely. Unlike some.
We say she's promiscuous, what I have read are accusations/Rumours. "Small" boys and even older ones aren't that discreet. However, if she is having sex, is that a crime? Better that, than forming celibate and then, "falling" pregnant.
