INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD



Years ago before marriage and kids arrived, when I go out with hubby for a fine dining kind of thing and I see kids there late at night I always became irritated.

You can imagine what is supposed to be an intimate dinner in a very romantic setting being interrupted by kids throwing things or a tantrum, for me they just spoil the whole experience.

I would complain badly on such night and even go as far as calling the parents irresponsible for having children out that late in such places. ( Don’t worry I am very ashamed of my insensitivity now).

So last week I was out with a family friend for a birthday dinner and we ended the night at a very fancy restaurant at ten pm with four kids in tow. They don’t normally allow kids but they made an exemption with us.

Anyway, the kids being kids, they almost broke all the dainty ornaments on the table, tried to climb and flip over the chairs, whined and cried, I became so frustrated I had to leave the men and take the kids out to a nearby fast food place with more children friendly menu( ice cream in plastic bowls and not dessert glasses like the other place.).

When we got home my sister reminded me of how badly I used to complain about parents who took their kids out to such places late at night. In her words “ you have become those irresponsible parents you used to despise".





Hahahahahaha........ This happens to everyone... You complain bitterly about something until it gets to you and find an excuse to Justify it..

UPDATE ON THE CHRISTIAN SISTER AND HUBBY WHO SEPARATED COS OF EVERY DAY GBENSHING

 

The woman came back after a month or so. I got the full gist yesterday from our compound Radio.

She said according to the wife, both families intervened and brokered peace.

 They  told her to return as divorce is a sin and they should go for more tests and treatments in order to have a child (they are TTC).  That she should bear it till she gives birth because when a woman gives birth, her libido will increase, the "place" will open and gbenshing will be sweeter to her. 

They told her that by then, she would be the one demanding for it everyday. 

As she was saying it I was doing face like that Stella's brown dog.

Dem don bobo the naive Aunty.

Mothers on SDK,  egbo, after giving birth your place opened and your libido increased?

Me I am a mother but my own libido nosedived, also the place did not open because they sewed it. E con even tight more sef.. kikikikiki

So she is bearing it now? Na wah, that's the worst thing that can happen to any woman.

''.......... I went outside the house to buy something and I saw a woman leaving on my street, dragging something with her son, this her son is almost 40 but still leaves under the same roof with his mom..no job no nothing, just smoking around.

The woman was trying to collect the thing from him but she couldn't cos he ran off and she started shouting thief thief.

So I asked her what he took she said her underwear as in her pants. What is going to use it for, she said she doesn't know that she's tired of the boy. I'm just here thinking abi he wants to use it for Yahoo. Na wa. Bvs enjoy your day. E go surely be ✌️.''
