DeleteI think Nigerians are unnecessarily harsh on BBN contestants that go into music. I listened to Selense remix and it was ok but the insults that song received ehn, I started wondering if it’s not the same country someone that sang Zazoo is making waves. I haven’t listened to this one but I can bet anything that it is not as bad as people are making it seem.

DeleteI agree with Eka. Selense wasn't nearly as bad as YoriYori that became a national sensation that year. In fact, his Selense had more substance than a lot of songs that make wave.
DeleteAnyway, I think his kind of music he has for now are best for adverts, promotion and jingles. If he improves on it, he will do better. The problem is acceptability by our hypocritical population.

ReplyDeleteBut.. these bbn guys sha. You can cook, infact you cooked in the house for months and your cooking worked in your favor and got you to the top 3. Your cooking attracted both good and bad press which has kept you relevant even after you were done playing the game. All those your singing that sounded like Ogun Shrine Opera is not going to cut it. Why can't you just stick to the cooking you know and open a restaurant with the little recognition you still have going? Some of your fellow housemates have gone extinct from the limelight. You still have your small fame to push and carry any business but you're doing music..What are you singing sef?
