INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD
Every time I go shopping for myself, I end up spending most of the money on my kids. A lot of time I leave home determined to buy stuff for myself or at least spend the lion share of the money on myself but I still end up spending it on my kids.
I am not complaining at all because I am so thrilled at the end of the day.
The last time I went in search of shoes with soft insoles for myself, I ended up not getting any but got two cute ones for my boys. Also my last market trip made me desire a daughter.
You need to see the beautiful cute gowns and shoes I saw, you know those soft billowing gowns with matching headbands, ruffles etc.
If I had a daughter, I would make sure she sparkles from head to toe, I would dress her in bright colours and glitters. I will make her hair into age appropriate braids with colourful beads. I was never allowed to have beads in my hair as a child.
To think that from childhood till now I have never been the one to like or wear bright colours, there used to be a time almost all the clothes in my wardrobe was black.
I am changing though and would like to have a daughter that I can twin with but I am done.
You are done with what? You hung your boots?...Hahahahahahhahahahahaha if wishes were horses, everyone will have everything.....

Thank you for posting my story in on house news on Monday, I'm overwhelmed with all the encouragement, prayers, love and E- hugs from lovely BVS. I shed tears while reading the comments and I promise not to go back to the beast of a husband.
My family is in support of my decisions, though my dad was angry for putting them in the dark for years about the abuses, he says he doesn't have a daughter a man will kill in the name of marriage. That whenever I am ready, the BRIDE PRICE will be returned to my ex kinsmen.

I'm trying to reduce it below are the things I buy..
garri and rice are bought in bulk Cereal/milk(weekly) Crate of Egg(weekly, I buy very little meat or fish so we mostly eat eggs in all meals except garri) Kid snacks/nuts(weekly) Veggies/fruit(weekly)
Restock noodles or macaroni or spaghetti on some weeks Restock beans on some weeks (don't buy bulk beans to prevent infestation) Restock vegetable oil on some weeks Restock palm oil on some weeks Little Protein(weekly) Onions,(weekly) Pepper(weekly) Crayfish(weekly) Potato or Yam (weekly)
Plantain(weekly) Tomatoes on some weeks Condiments restock on some weeks Bread........(some weeks) Water....( weekly) I try to make a healthy variety for my kid to take to school however, I've tried to reduce and reduce as it seems the cost of feeding is just going up and income is not matching the up ward movement so it seems we spend a better half of our income on food!
The eventual weekly spending on food is between 15-25k depending on what I'm stocking up on. Is this too much? How else can I cut down on feeding expenses.

Hi Khal, I hope you backed it up with good and healthy feeding? Cos if you eventually stop taking those drugs you'll go back to default setting. You can add supplements like vitamins C 1000mg & E 1000 IU.

Xasten is a steroid please. Avoid apetamin till NAFDAC gives a clarification on it. For now, you can continue with the super appetite but try not to take it every day so your body doesn't get so use to it. Add vit E and C, regular monovitamins like reload woman, well woman, beta woman, or healthy woman.
