Don't allow my blog ID deceive you. I have had my own fair share of challenges. That one has challenges doesn't mean that you are no longer a child of God.
It is what Yeshua promised His followers in this world (now you see that you have been following your daddy GO instead). BTW challenges come to refine your character and not to marr you.
Christ is coming back for a church with blameless/ godly character and not a church that has no challenges nor the kind that is the wealthiest/ most successful.

DeleteThat is one gift God gave me as a growing child: a peek into how terribly minded many of these people are. People who ran into church and mosque are there, trying to run from the darkness of their mind which they have refused to fight with. They have the worst complexes as regards sexuality, money and people, spiritually. These are really broken people just refusing to do the work.

ReplyDeleteThis Leke own is just too much!!! I keep wondering what makes him think he is very Godly just because his father is the GO. Even if a Pastor is wrong, you correct in love and privately. This is sooooo and tooo toxic. I really have strong reservation about some RCCG...especially those that behave like Leke the biological son of the Prophet who should know better rather than display his foolishness in public all the time.

ask questions before commenting stupidly...a service is supposed to last for a specific period and for that service they were to connect to GOs message. some pastors will connect to his message then start another sermon after. people will then start complaining the service was too long bla bla bla. the same members are the ones who complain and such issues are addressed during pastors meeting...you tell pastors do this but some of them disobey and dont listen but will allow all kinds of complain....any organization has rules and people should learn to obey simple instructions. he will have his strong reasons for his comment but people who are ready to vilify the church will sleep on this.. he has a right to be angry because this issue has been flogged plenty times and yes some people behave like stubborn goats..

Someone calls someone a goat, you forget Jesus preached grace & treating others like u would want to be treated (which he termed the 2nd greatest commandment). The same you will have the mind to call yourself a christian or Jesus follower. Yet, you do exactly the opposite of what Jesus teaches and use the rest of the bible (written by men) to justify wrong; all because it's your pastor. When u are then accused of worshipping men rather than God & living like christ, you call us liars and enemies of the church. Na una dey do yourself.
Funny thing is you never show the same grace nor leniency to others, na only ur GOs and pastors una dey defend like this. Tell me, why didnt your pastor also defend or justify what the pastor did? But here you are doing that for him.

ReplyDeleteYesterday around noon, I opened my laptop and the first thing I heard was a pastor praying. When I checked, it was RCCG April 3rd Thanksgiving service. It must have been that the message was playing on "auto play", after my NSPPD morning prayers, as I left the morning prayers and rushed off for a dental appointment...
ReplyDeleteI normally don't follow RCCG sermons but,upon my return from my appointment, the RCCG church was on and the prayers that "the accused Pastor" was praying, stopped me in my tracks as I actually joined to pray. The prayers were powerful and I felt moved by it. I had to put it on pause, to watch later, and continued with the day's work.
However, when I saw this post, I went back to check the prayers and coincidentally, it was the same prayers, with the said pastor praying.
Things don't just happen coincidentally in my life. God wanted me to pray those exact prayer points, reason why it was the same time I opened my laptop that the Pastor was praying. That same yesterday, three different people who have no connection with each other, called me to pray/prayed for me, with the same/similar prayer points.
I understand that churches have protocols to follow but, that particular pastor has an anointing and particular grace upon his life. The Holy Spirit could have prompted him to do that. They are not even reasoning from that point of view.
May the Lord grant us the wisdom to recognise His anointing.
May the Lord lead the church and its elders right in Jesus name.

DeleteIt could be that the GO didn't pass the actual message, and the Holy Spirit moved that pastor to preach God's mind n declared those prayers to liberate some people somewhere.
DeleteYou are so RIGHT but RCCG will never learn that God breaks protocol sometimes and that the GO is not GOD. RCCG has lost a lot of good pastors because of this 'arrogance', forgetting that Christ is the Head of the church not Adeboye or any other minister. Pastor Fola(we miss your leadership though), God bless you for standing your ground when they rose against and your decision to be an Evangelist rather than 'pastor' a church, since people like Leke plenty for church.
