This was confirmed in a statement signed by its National President, Tajudeen Baruwa and General Secretary, Kabiru Ado Ya’u.
The union said Oluomo was sacked based on the provisions of the union’s constitution.
Part of the statement read, “MC Oluomo has been sacked as Lagos chairman. We had a meeting on Monday night and we have replaced him.
“His earlier withdrawal from the union holds no ground. That is unacceptable to us.”

DeleteThey sacked him as nurtw chairman,by now appoints him as caretaker chairman, with kudety as his vice, and sego, jaffo authority as members, same old story. Government is afraid of this guy, and I wonder why
ReplyDeleteLagos State had appointed him as the chairman of its committee to oversee the affairs of all motor parks and garages in Lagos State.

ReplyDeleteNa wa..
ReplyDeleteSacked and was given a higher position..naija cruise nation.
ReplyDeleteThe way agberos are celebrated in Lagos is alarming. I see the way this oluomo of a guy is celebrated in parties. Like a demi god. Who made this guy God over Lagos sef? Who em be? Who be em papa?
ReplyDeleteSomebody that should have been suspended and expelled out of Lagos. Nonsense!
Person wey get house and lives among 'celebrities' including nollywood, footballers and barbrisky for Chevron Drive na him no fit be Governor for Lagos State. If Jagaban choose, he will become and even share jeep give una judiciary and JPs. Una never know the kind cruise country wey una dey.
ReplyDeleteFor the sake of those in Oshodi, this guy should be reinstated and permitted to serve out his term so that he doesn't focus on becoming Oba of Oshodi which would mean being a part of the Oshodi/Lagos scene for decades. Endure a few years more of his being at every party instead of arrogantly signing a life contract. Where is Akanni Olohunwa today? Hasn't Tajudeen Agbede served his term and moved on? Don't cut your nose to spite your face. Every single state has had to find ways to tolerate and engage with this Industry because of their dizzying headcount. Transportation is no joke anywhere in the world and it is never a pristine business.
ReplyDeleteSo called university graduates will be roaming the streets looking for who will give them the job that their parents kept with strangers while people with little education all over Nigeria were providing value at motorparks and trying to sanitize intrastate travel to the best of their knowledge. As illiterate as you say they are, you are safer boarding one of their buses than the unregistered ones on the road. Even goods forgotten at parks are kept and returned to the owners. Now that they have built a sustainable business, the same graduates are demanding it be handed to them as a birthright without showing any proof of improving their present environment. They are policing the funds, and lifestyles of businesses they should be thinking of edifying for the good of all.
